On May 2018, I purchased a Newmar Dutch Star motorhome from *** *** in Springfield MOBefore Mr*** put his motorhome up for sale, he had Thomas Brothers RV dewinterize and put new batteries in the motorhomeAfter I purchased the motorhome from Mr*** I began to drive it back home to (CO)When I was getting to the south end of Kansas city, the motorhome started failing, not functioning properly(not shifting)I was able to get the motorhome to T*** ** *** in Belton, MO*** found the alternator was damaged and the cause was a wire from the system that was supposed to be on the positive side of the terminal, was on the negative sideAfter repairs, troubleshooting and resolving issue, I had to pay $1,to ***I have tried to call *** *** to resolve issue, and he will not return my calls
