I later learned from the escrow officer, *** *** *** that *** *** *** vice president of Escrow of the West, and *** *** *** the seller, are good friends and may have had previous business dealings*** *** informed me this is why Escrow of the West was specifically requested When I asked her to elaborate, she responded, "I'm taking the 5th."
