Regarding the response. The consumer signed a lease and acknowledged that remotes, passes and keys, if NOT returned would be subject to a replacement cost of $100.We charged her only $to replace the device which included actual material cost and labor We went out of our way to save her $ We explained this multiple times to the consumer - but she only wants to pay the cost of replacement and her cost estimate is for the wrong model as well She does not realize that there is a real cost to us to go purchase and install the device We will not be refunding her the $she is asking for

$25. We explained this multiple times to the consumer - but she only wants to pay the cost of replacement and her cost estimate is for the wrong model as well. She does not realize that there is a real cost to us to go purchase and install the device. We will not be refunding her the $45 she is asking for.

I am rejecting this response because:The company's response is different that what I received in an email from them after filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. An excerpt of the email response from the company, which I received on October 19th, is shown below: "The costs break down as follows: Replacement Remote: $37.20, Employee time to purchase, place and program remote: 1.5 hours at our billing rate of $35/hr. Knowing our costs please let me know what you believe to be fair and I will see what I can do to compromise." I responded to their email on the same day and this is shown below: "Thank you for the response and the explanation of the charges. I investigated the procedure required to set up a new remote and it consists of holding down the home button for ten seconds. That is the only installation required. I feel that 1.5 hours billed at $35 an hour is highly excessive, both for the amount of time spent on the project and the hourly rate. Given all the information, I am requesting a refund of $25." I never received a follow up email response from the company regarding the compromise. I am disappointed in both their lack of professionalism and lack of ethical treatment of the customer.
Sincerely,
