I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. 1. "Mr [redacted] called [redacted] asking for an insurance agent. [redacted] referred him to us." False Statement
I contacted Paris-Kirwan because of previous business conducted with
them for my mother. Upon learning that the agent no longer worked
there, I was referred to [redacted] by his step-mother.2. "We received a call from the leasing company and sent them proof of insurance on the same day we received the phone call." False Statement
On October 1, 2017, we emailed the agent and stated that we received a
letter from [redacted] requesting that proof of insurance be
submitted. We also stated that we wanted to talk to him about
policy concerns. On October 2, he responded that he would get answers
to our questions later that week. He has not contacted us
since. On October 13, 2017 at 4:45 pm the agent was contacted and left a
voice message stating that a second letter was sent by [redacted].3.
"He would call from a restricted number and was repeatedly told we
needed to be unblocked. Mr. [redacted] never left voicemails." False
Statement Messages were left on his voice mail, at
work and on his personal cell phone. In addition, he acknowledged
receiving emails from us and obviously had the means to contact us. Why does a number need to be unblocked? Voice messages were left, and not responded to.4. "Mr. [redacted] repeatedly called [redacted]." True Statement
[redacted] was contacted because the agent absolutely refused to
correspond with us, necessitating that I was forced to contact the
district supervisor for help.5. There seems to be a lack of communication from Mr. [redacted]." False Statement
Have the agent provide any letters, or emails since October 2, 2017
indicating that he has contacted me. There are no letters or emails from
this agent since October 2, 2017 because he completely ignored
his responsibilities to provide service. In his own words, in an email
he sent to us on October 2, 2017, the agent stated that he would contact us by the end of the week.6. "We provided excellent service to a difficult client." False Statement
On previous occasions, the agent emailed us requesting documentation
that we completed a defensive driving course and if we could provide
photos of our two new vehicles for the insurance company. Every
thing requested was sent the same day or the next day. The only
difficult individual is the agent. Regards, [redacted]
Mr [redacted] called [redacted] asking for an insurance agent. [redacted] referred him to us. The agent visited his home to collect all the information for the application and the quote. We bound the coverage for the home, auto, and umbrella saving him some a small...
amount of money but significantly increased his coverage for the home. We uploaded the pictures of the auto for the carco inspection. We go them to [redacted] within the necessary time frame. We received a call from the leasing company and sent them proof of insurance on the same day we received the phone call. Everything was completed and all the requirements were met, The security certificate and the defensive driving certificates were all uploaded on time and all the credits were applied to the policy on inception date. We sent the Canadian id cards the day after he asked for them. (they take time to get) He would call from a restricted number and was repeatedly told we needed to be unblocked. Mr [redacted] never left voicemails or sent any emails complaining of service. Mr [redacted] repeatedly contacted [redacted]. He was told he could make any changes directly with them if he had an issue with coverage. However, all he wanted to do was complain about not being able to reach us. We gave Mr [redacted] 2 cell phone numbers and the office number. He was given email address. We did not get any questions or complaints. He just complained directly to [redacted]. There seems to be a lack of communication from Mr [redacted]. However, the coverage is still in force and he has not asked to make any changes to the coverage. He did not make any changes to the coverage when told he could do so. We did nothing wrong and all his needs were met. We provided excellent to a difficult client. I have also attached an email from Mr [redacted] in word doc format praising us for the work we did.
