Lately, I sent ECM & Marshal offices registered mails. Meantime, I am still waiting for the acknowledgement receipt cards from USPS. For this reason, I am actually planning to make my early retirement or better yet, move to another company, but need to let the new company know about this ECM scams, so they would know ahead of time. And never comply with them (ECM & Marshal) in the future.
Review: I have been trying to contact this company regarding my debt and they cannot verify any information. They state that they cannot find the debt. They are still reporting it to the credit reporting agency. I am currently trying to remove this information and I am getting no where. I contacted the lawyer that was listed on my credit report and they said that the debt has been transfered back to Erin Capital as of August of 2013. I have left several messages for someone to call me back regarding this and no one has returned my call. If I do owe this debt why can't anyone find it or give me additional information.Desired Settlement: I would like a letter from the company stating that I do not owe this debt and removed off my credit report.
Review: Erin Cap Management levied my mother's account and withdrew approx 3k. She has never heard of this supposed debt totaling $20,039.44 (including $6,980.95 in misc. charges).
All the info I have is what the bank provided me which indicates that the judgment was entered on 4/**/2007. Cannot get in touch with ECM, refuse to return calls, letters, emails.
My mom incurred $500+ in bank fees, and other NSF fees etc. from other dues that obviously didn't get paid in time since her accounts were cleaned out without notice.
Furthermore, we did not receive ANY documentation requesting confirmation of this supposed debt, or to even inform us that their were dues in my mom's name. One day, all of our accounts were wiped cleaned. The reason this effects me is because my mom and I share and account, which means that part of the money that was taken was mine. My mom and dad also share an account, and the same applies to him.
Most importantly, the money in the accounts came from a consolidation loan granted by our bank in the amount of $6000, and more than half was taken due to this lien. You can imagine how devastating this was since we clearly needed the money. I won't go on to explain the stress, pain, and suffering that my elderly parents endured.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the amount stolen, and or concrete documentation that the debt is in fact my mother's, which I am certain that it's not. She never had credit extended beyond 5k, and is mostly a cash payer. So accruing $20k in debt at age 50 is highly unlikely.
