I am rejecting this response because: I never entered into a business relationship with erentpayment's processors, banks, or any other third party entities. I did business with erentpayment and that business relationship consisted of processing payments for my tenants. My tenants paid their rent, and erentpayment has not passed it on to me yet -- I frankly could care less what their reason is, they have $1,155 of my money that they owe me. Moreover, my tenant did exactly what they suggested and went to the bank and requested that it be reversed, but the bank told her "payment went thru, we can't reverse it". eRentPayment claims they are insured, they should file a claim with their insurance company and pay me the money they owe me. This is fraud. Regards,

I am rejecting this response because until the funds are recovered, this complaint is still valid. Erentpsyment is responsible for they money that was stolen and I expect it to be returned, otherwise the complaint is still valid.

I am rejecting this response because: this is not a legitimate response to the issue. Revdex.com, please review the response that eRentPayment provided. eRentPayment is the entity that I am doing business with but they are taking zero responsibility for this problem. They are asking me to take an action with my bank directly to fix their problem. This is not an acceptable resolution.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:This business held my money hostage for several weeks. I should have been immediately paid. This business is a pass through. Their only job is to deposit tenants money into the landlords bank account. This mistake is 100% their responsibility. They should have systems in place and/or insurance for this type of incident. We have mortgages and insurance to pay. They put the burden on the tenant to go through their bank to reclaim the money. Completely unacceptable. I am rejecting this response because:the main issue of my complaint is the nonexistent communication at the time of the crises and it is still not addressed in this second response. It is as if they are not reading the complaint. The issue is communication. Erent payment did not notify their customers there was a problem in a timely manner. I had to reach out to them when I did not receive my funds after two weeks. I should have been notified immediately.

I am rejecting this response because: erentpayment or businesses that erentpayment used did not process money in a timely fashion. They did not respond to emails, phone calls and letters in a timely fashion. They continue to solicit new business as if nothing happened.Because of negligence on their part I am was not paid the money owed to me. I closed my bank account and had to open a new one because erentpayment did not fulfill their obligation to me and my tenant. I could not sleep at night knowing erentpayment had access to my bank info. Would they sell it? Would they continue to deduct fees from my account even though money due to me was not paid? My tenant had to take time out of their day to request that THEIR OWN MONEY be returned to them because erentpayment did not act in a professional and legal manner.Erentpayment continues to solicit new business.Even now, I cannot delete my account from erentpayment.

A separate company which was handling payment processing for eRentPayment, [redacted], has filed for bankruptcy protection. We have been told this occurred because [redacted]’s processor [redacted] placed a hold on its funds as a result of deficits incurred by other clients of [redacted], not eRentPayment.com. This created a cascade effect that caused some eRentPayment users’ funds to get held in a pending status with [redacted]. Unfortunately, designated recipients of the funds have not received payment. The transactions potentially affected were only those submitted after approximately 7:31:00 PM (PST) 10/03/2017 through approximately 7:01:33 PM (PST) 10/12/2017.We are coordinating with multiple entities, including attorneys general in several states, to try and rectify the situation for landlords and tenants whose transactions between 10/4 –10/12/17 were impacted. Because we don't know how the held funds will be handled through [redacted]’s bankruptcy proceedings, the best course of action right now is for tenants to dispute the debit against his or her bank account with the bank. We’ve set up an online resource center with updates and support in filing that claim: https://support.erentpayment.com/kb/c16/october-deposit-issue.aspx

I am rejecting this response because: I did not do business with any of the companies mentioned in the response. I did business with eRentPayment who have an obligation to foresee such events if true and take precautions to protect their customers. Not only they did not but their initial response/excuse to inquiries was totally diffetent. They are responsible and liable for all damages o their customers.

I am rejecting this response because: I am still owed $3.00 for the 'transaction' that never occurred. Because of the fraud, I was forced to close and re-open a new account. ERentPayment can mail me a check to the my address on file.

I am rejecting this response because: The vendor doesn't accept any responsibility for situations and for dealing with the losses that we inquired. Their proposed plans is to have my tenants jump hoops on my behalf. I'm also relying on them being honest and inform me about getting refunds and have to deal with being short on several thousands of dollars meanwhile.

Erentpayments.com poorly communicated the issue and disabled their customer service function on the landlord portal. We had no way of knowing what the issues was and they did not send a notice of delay payment or any other communication. Again landlords were not notified until we communicated with each other and thus made numerous complaints to the Revdex.com.

I am rejecting this response because: My business was conducted with eRentPayment, not echeck. Was an insurance claim opened in order to pay the money back? Any REAL action taken by eRentPayment to return the money? If I hear corectly, the only way to claim the money back is to open a fraud case with the tenant's bank...

I am rejecting this response because: I received zero direct personal communication from the company regarding this issue in the last month. There were couple of generic responses prior to that and no update about the status of insurance proceedings. There are still no ETAs and no involvement by the company assisting with retrieving funds - they simply delegated this to be our responsibility claiming what happened wasn't their fault and they can't do anything about it. To the day, I am still not able to recover all the lost moneys.

I am rejecting this response because: My tenant has requested a reversal of the transaction. I would like to know if that reversal has occurred from erentpayment/[redacted].

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I shouldn't be expected to depend on tenants be willing to voluntarily work with their banks to get the money returned and then faithfully pay the money to me. What about tenants who are being evicted? This would not be possible for them. The money should be made to landlords an easier way.

I am rejecting this response because:eRentPayment knew that there was a problem before my tenant's rent payment was submitted. They should have alerted me of this known problem and then I would have had my tenant pay their rent using another method. eRentPayment never sent correspondence to me about this problem for WEEKS. I only found out about it by chance on Facebook. Once I did, they would not answer the phone or respond to email. They are not taking any responsibility for the problem. Yes, they have apologized, that isn't enough. My financial loss could have been avoided if they had been truthful and up front about this problem. As of yet, my tenant has not been able to have their rent payment returned to they by their bank.
