We signed a lease with ERA Donahoe Realty (*** ***) for a home located at *** *** *** *** **Upon move in, we found the home to be filthy and in disrepair throughoutWe filled out a move in/move out report detailing the issues with the propertyA few of these issues have been addressed, but most are still outstandingThe issue that is prompting this complaint occurred while we were out of the countryOn our move in/move out report, we detailed an issue with the lock on the garage to house doorThe lock was damaged and malfunctioning, and we were concerned it would cause issues if not addressedWe also notified *** *** via email regarding the issueERA Donahoe Realty neglected to address the issue in a timely manner (from Jan - July)When we left town, we enlisted the help of a neighbor to house sit, to make sure our home, plants and pets were taken care of in our absenceWhile here, late in the evening, she went into our garage and the door lock ment

We were working with a property manager named *** while looking for a house to rentWe viewed a house we liked, asked if our dogs were ok or at least considered before of us pay $for an applicationWe were assured dogs would be considered by the landlordWe all paid our $(total of $105) only to find out the owner was never going to let dogs in the houseWe found out later that other people applied and paid the application fee with dogs only to find out dogs were not allowedThey happily took our money knowing we would not be considered
