Review: We started working with **. [redacted], Mortgage Officer, who represented [redacted]. We completed paperwork galore, answered questions, gave personal tax information, and did all the things that were required of us, as per **. [redacted]. We paid for the appraisal on one of the two properties that were being refinanced by [redacted]. We paid for this appraisal UP FRONT. **. [redacted] assured us that the property appraisal was required but would not affect our ability to get our loan(s). We paid $675 on our [redacted] card. Shortly after this transaction, [redacted] was sold or merged with Equity Loans LLC [redacted] PA [redacted]. **. [redacted] indicated that he would complete our loans as soon as possible - but because of the new company's rules, he needed to attend meetings etc. **. [redacted] assured me that our loans would be processed and we would be close on the 2 properties with new payments by mid-October. We were also told that this new company - Equity Loans - would have no issues completing these refinancing projects. This was not the case. **. [redacted] left the company and **. [redacted] - has since requested MANY additional items for the loans. I have often called **. [redacted] - who undoubtedly is very busy - and I have not been able to reach him by phone. I have sent emails and he wrote to me on Saturday 11/2 that he forwarded my email to [redacted] and [redacted] and One of them will reach out to me regarding my displeasure with the refinance. I have not heard back - by phone or email - from anyone. I have called the company again and have emailed again today. Still nothing.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded $675 for the appraisal that was done under the pretense that all our documents were in and that we would be closing by mid-October 2013. No other information was needed and the appraisal was just a "formality." We have not yet closed - and it's November 7, 2013. The mortgage company is asking for more and more documentation and is never satisfied with the documents I provide -not because of the #s- but because they want more detail. Details never requested before.
