EquiAlt Fund

This company is unable to be reached by phone, text, email during a pandemic and is refusing to wave late fees, work with tenants.
Equialt took several weeks to respond to Covina 19 and and has had nearly no ongoing communication. They are now inaccessible, even in emergency situations regarding payment matters, and have discontinued what little bit of "assistance" they offered (which was virtually none- only "waiving late fees" on a monthly basis) despite most people not returning to working normal hours. I have tried to reach Equialt via text, call and email since Monday to make a split payment arrangement as I'm still only working 32 hours a week and have a special needs toddler to care for. I paid over half my rent before the late fee, and they FINALLY called on Friday to say I would still be charged a late fee on Saturday since I don't get paid til Tuesday. This company is the absolute worst in tenant support during this time and should be put out of business!

This place stole my deposit.. they would not fix the problems I was having with the property I was renting like rats in and out of my house.. I made many of maintenance request and they would just close the request and have me file them again.. I have an 8 year old girl who had to deal with this.. please find other places to rent from
