I am writing this letter as a follow up to a complaint received by *** ***, ID ***. The issues he is referring to in the complaint was out of Chapa Realty's control, as it was simply a delay in the financing process. The buyers were obtaining FHA financing, and underwriting is
becoming more and more strict with new government regulations as well as TRID guidelines requiring an additional business days after final approval before closing can occur. This is becoming a common issue with lenders, and in speaking with the title company the week of closing, they had experienced almost their entire week of closings being pushed back because of similar situations. The buyers were very accommodating during the purchase process, giving the seller full price for the home and not asking for any repairs during the inspection period, so we had wished for a little compassion and understanding for the buyers by everyone in the transaction, including the buyers; as they wanted nothing more than to have a smooth closing and to have been in the home on the original closing date.
