We had Jose out to look at a couple of jobs we needed done in our yard. We had 3 areas that needed to be worked on. We were given a price of $600 *** There was a 3rd job we received a price on that we were going to have him do at a later date.

After messaging with them on *** prior to starting, I confirmed the pricing.

After the *** we were told that it was much more than expected as there were a couple more ***. We were told that in order to complete that job and level the dirt in front of the area it would cost "a couple hundred" more.

They left for the day and returned the next day and finished the rest of the 1st job and also *** Two days later I received a message saying that due to the unexpected extra work we would receive an invoice for $400 more than we were told. When I mentioned we were told it would be an extra $200 they said the best they can do is knock $100 off. So we will still be paying $300 more than the confirmed price. We understood that there was unforseen extra work and understood them wanting to charge an additional amount, for them to charge $200 over and above ***. We would not have had them complete the job. We would have had others come out for other quotes. They boast 20 years experience, so one would think they would have the knowledge and experience for giving a price on a job and not then charge the customer $400 extra for a $600 originally priced job.
