From the sales person to the install to the security of my home alarm...what a great experience! First with Luis Valencia, what an amazing thorough sales person. His overall expertise and professionalism was so far above and beyond! He was able to set me at ease and help me make a decision with his quick responses to my questions. You are lucky to have him! The install was flawless! Your installers are by far the best and quick easy and simple! The equipment is sleek and looks good! The system is amazing! Just everything! A couple of nice young men, Joe, and Francisco, met my wife and I as we arrived home one day last fall (10/27/'16). They were selling a security package that included Smart Home features. We are both retired, and a Smart Home with security sounded like something we would be interested in. We agreed to try the security system, which included a smart thermostat. The smart thermostat was not smart! It dropped our thermostat to 63 degrees, which triggered our AC. A glitch, I thought, it is cool now, so I will just turn it off. No! A remote location turned it back on. I turned it off again. It was turned back on. Each time our AC was turning back on. I thought, perhaps, I am doing something wrong, so I called, and spent a couple hours on the phone with Rod (or, Rob?), He wasn't really familiar with that part of the system, so we worked with it until we thought we had it. Nope! it turned back on again. I demanded the thermostat be removed, which it was within a couple of days.
I spoke with Latoya, then Donna, then Brian, then Linda, from Monitronics, each time voicing my dissatisfaction. Eventually, they explained their complex business model: they deal with many security companies, and have no control over the contracts. I Then contacted Dakota at Envision Security requesting the termination of the contract. She directed me to Sheli. She said, absolutely not, so I suggested buying out the contract. No! The full sixty month contract needs to be paid in full. I have activated the system less than six time in the last 10 months. I do not use the system. I do not want the service. I will not pay any more!!!!!
