Review: Ordered sample of beautemd to try when seen advertised on The Doctor's website, was charged apparently when ordered. When I tried it and saw it was a waste of time and money I cancelled it. I then received my credit card bill. I was surprised I had been charged and thought maybe another jar had been sent before I cancelled. I searched online and found complaint sites for this cream and the company stating it could not be returned unless you paid 3o$. It was at this point I disputed the charge. I would be glad to return it but do not know if it would be accepted since I did sample it. But how would I know if it was the miracle cream they said if I did not try it? I have already sent a complaint to you in December about this company.Desired Settlement: I will return merchandise but don't feel I should have to pay the 87.50 charged or 30$ to return it.

Review: I saw an advertisement for the product at a sample price. I bought it and a few days later they charged my account $87.50. I called and talked with a manager who basically called me a liar and saying they would not issue me a refund because it was my fault for not seeing the fine print at the bottom when you get the sample product that they will rip you off later on. I told her that I would even return the product because it was still sealed and unopened and she would only refund 50%. This is a crap company who tries to sneak your money, while your thinking you are getting a good deal, but your not. They mislead you in their advertisement. I will not ever recommend their product or company because they have proved their self to be a scam.Desired Settlement: Full refund. Not just 50%

We offer a FREE 14 day trial. Customers are responsible for contacting our call center to cancel prior to their trial ending to not be billed at the end of the trial. Had the customer contacted us within trial, they would have not been charged nor put into a monthly subscription. The customer placed her order through a two part order page. First, they filled out their personal information including their name, address, phone number, and email address. Second, they input their credit card information. Directly below the credit card form, it states:
Your credit card will be charged $2.95 for shipping and handling of a one month supply of Beaute MD Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer. You will have 14 days since the order date to try BeauteMD and decide if it is right for you. If by the end of your trial you are enjoying BeauteMD, simply keep the jar and your credit card will be charged in the amount of $87.50 for the item received. To see full terms and conditions please click here.
In addition, the terms and conditions is posted in multiple areas of our webpage. Lastly, the customer is send a physical hard copy of our terms and conditions on the outside of the package. Had the customer not agreed to the terms, they could have refused the package and the package would have been sent back to us at no cost to the customer.
We have record of the customer contacting our call center on 10/20/14 past her trial period. At this moment, the customer still has possession of the product and contacted our call center past their trial period.

Review: I order a trial offer allowing me 14 days to try the product on 2/6/14. I received the product on 2/10/14. I called on 2/24/14 only 12 working days after placing the order to discontinue any further shipments. I was told by [redacted] that I only had until 2/20/14 to cancel and return the product and therefore I was responsible for the full amount of the product $87.50. I explained that according to their advertisement I was supposed to get 14 complete days to try the product and decide weather I want to keep it or not. Expecting the costumer to decide to return the product by the the before or by the end of the 14 day trial period is denying the customer's right to actually try the product for the full 14 days advertised by the company. Also the company should not count the days the product takes to arrive as part of the 14 day trial period. Their advertisement therefore is false and has misleading information to the customer. Amber (supervisor) denied my request to receive a full credit to my account.Desired Settlement: Full credit for product and not be charged any additional fees to my credit card account. I also would like Labgenix to change their return policies allowing customers the full 14 days to finish trying the product and to contact and notify Labgenix after the end of the 14 days trial period if one chooses to return the product.

Review: I am truly disgusted with this Company and the way it is fooling and ripping people off!
Their business practices are nothing short of a credit card scam. This company prays on its customers.
Fine print under the company’s “Terms & Conditions” with very relevant and important information is hidden, not up front or obvious, therefore easy to miss.
Once the customer falls into this company’s trap, it is very difficult and unwilling to deal with and it is impossible to get your money back, even when complying to its “Terms and Conditions”.
I have learned about all of this when I suddenly realized the lack of funds on my account which was being charged a strange amount of a lot of money I didn’t recognize. I called my bank and they said that it is the second time! Somehow I totally missed the first charge at the beginning of the year (I had lots of bills, so I didn’t see their charge. If I did, I would have taken action right there and then). I went on their website and started "digging", and there, I found it. At the bottom of their page listed under “Terms & Conditions” there is the fine print stating the 14 day trial conditions, as well, as the fact that I would be automatically entered into a re-order and charged 89.95/mth, every month indefinitely or until I cancel. I did not realize any of this because I missed the “fine print”.
They charged me twice in one month (01/05/15-$89.95 & 01/31/5-87.50) regardless, that aside from the initial trial (in December 2014) I have never received any further product(s).
When I called to have this “forced” membership cancelled and asked for my money back, not only did they refuse (!) but on top of that, they mentioned kindly waiving some "cancellation fee” which is not even listed in their “Terms & Conditions”. Is that legal?
They have also stated that they have already shipped the product (supposedly re-ordered on 01/31/15 and I called to cancel on 02/02/15), and that even if I would return it, I would NOT get my money refunded in full. This time a “restocking fee” had been mentioned. Again, as stated in their “Terms & Conditions” pertaining to the restocking fee, it states that:
“If your account has been charged $87.75 for a 30 day supply (approximately 45 days after initial order and every 30 days after), you can return an UN-OPENNED BOTTLE within 14 days of shipment for a full refund. A restocking fee of $30 will be charged on opened products of Beaute MD. When returning your product for a refund there must be 100% product left in the bottle in order to process a refund.”
I never received any other shipments. Moreover, I notified my post office/mailman, that if in fact anything should come from this company, it is unauthorized, and therefore I refuse it altogether, without acknowledging it at all. Thus, if anything came, it was “returned to sender” as an unauthorized/unrecognized shipment, a scam attempt. The return would have been untouched by me, thus falling into their return policy, yet I am told that it does not matter, I would still be charged $30 restocking fee. THIS STATEMENT IS CONTRARY TO THEIR OWN “TERMS & CONDITIONS”. Again, IS THIS LEGAL???
Most importantly, they refuse to refund my money... I (may, although not entirely, because I feel deceived) agree with the first charge, since it was my incompetence, but I feel that I should get all of the money they charged me for a second time. Instead, they are giving me a courtesy (as they called it) of 30% “discount” on my "second order", giving me a "refund" of $26.25 (which again, I never received anything other than the initial "trial" back in December. Furthermore, I did NOT consciously order anything other than the trial which was supposed to costs $2.95 s&h, which turns out that not only is not free, but highly obligatory).
I need help getting my money back.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back. ($87.50)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The Company's "Terms & Conditions" state that if product is returned unopened within 14 days of membership cancellation which was on 02/02/2015, a full refund will be issued. Review: I was recently contacted by Peter, an employee of this company. He stated that I owed almost a hundred and forty dollars for a product I neither ordered nor received. I contacted my credit card company regarding this matter and was told that they do not have the authority to report this to collection. Peter, as well as his supervisor Johnathan, assured me that if I did not pay $139.90 in full that it would affect my credit report. After speaking in length with a representative from my credit card company she assured me that not only do they not have the authority to report me but that the company itself was a scam. I received a four dollar and ninety five cent charge on my visa October 5th of 2014. Somehow, I overlooked this charge and neglected to report fraud to my credit card company. It caused my bank account to become overdrawn by 70 dollars. Now I'm being harassed by employees of this company. I am writing to inform you that said company is fraudulent, and attempting to extort consumers for money not rightfully owed. Although I will not be reimbursed for the $4.95, my account has been credited the 70 that this company cause me to become overdrawn. The product was supposedly shipped October 5th 2014 to an address in Delaware; I was residing in Georgia at the time. My credit card company has been efficient and helpful in this matter, however, the business that I'm lodging a complaint against has been consistently harassing and threatening me. If this matter could be solved and a timely matter it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to ensure that this charge will not be reflected on my credit report. It has not been reported as of yet but this morning at 10:25 a.m. Both [redacted] and [redacted] said that by the end of the business day they would report this to the credit agency. I'm not seeking a refun of the $4.95 charge my visa October 5th 2014 but I would like you to be aware of the fraudulent nature of this company and assure me that this will not reflect my credit score.

The product in dispute is from Ayur Cream. In addition, further review of Ms.
