Entrusted Van Lines

We hired Entrusted to do a move from WA to NC. The cost changed three times, including on the day of the move when suddenly our cubic feet went up 150 cubic feet, even when we OVER ESTIMATED what we had. We had to haggle to only be charged an additional $600. Now that we’re in NC, somehow a 70 inch TV was delivered to the wrong house (but they can’t get it back for us), a rolling cart is missing, two desks are gone, our large dining table is broken, our tv stand is broken (shattered in half), and it’s been a NIGHTMARE trying to talk to anyone. Best part? THEY DIDNT DO THE MOVE. They SOLD our move to Spartan van lines. So they won’t even move your stuff! They’ll SELL YOUR MOVE. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

They gave me an estimate of $3,800 and they charged me an extra $2,600. They claimed it would be an extra $2,000 to take my box spring and bed frame, so that had to be left behind.
They refused to give me any indication of what day my furniture was to arrive, despite the fact that I had to schedule travel around it, and despite their promise of 7 days' notice. Every time I called, they gave me different info, and sometimes were downright rude. "What's your name?" "I'm not telling you." "Can I speak to a manager?" "I am the manager."
When they showed up, they demanded an extra $600 just because I was on the fifth floor, not the first. They ruined my chair and loveseat and significantly gouged my heirloom mahogany bookcase. All of my boxes arrived in very poor, beat up condition.
Don't believe the 5-star reviews here--they are obviously faked. Hoping to save someone from my fate!

Horrible experience! Run away from them right away. The estimate they give you on the first call is way off plus they strong arm you into handing over a deposit. Yet, they neglect to tell you that you only have a 3 day grace period to cancel. Then when they hit your bank a week later it is too late. Scam definite since they do not accept credit/debit payments. They want you to pay with "cash" to their drivers, who does that. RED FLAGS ALL OVER.

This company impressed me. The lady was very responsive and efficient. The movers showed up right at 7 am! A giant moving truck, I was so happy. The movers were excellent, introduced themselves and got STRAIGHT to work! They busted some serious tail the entire time. They didn't stop for breaks. They packed the truck like pros. It was lovely working with them. Highly recommended!
