Complaint[redacted]The Energy Doctor is building a sunroom on the back of my house and it does not pass the building inspection. They closed everything up even when the inspector told them to open it for inspection. Now they have opened it up and the roof is not built structurally correct. The new roof is attached just tacked and glued to the old facia. The blue prints required 2x4s and nails and 2x4s under the new roof to hold it up. There was to be 2x4s attaching the new roof to the existing rafters. There was 2x4s inserted but I think they were just for show as they did not connect to the new roof. If we got a big snow it would all cave in. There are no 2x4s under the new roof. They are in the process of correcting this problem. This job was started in May and was to take 3 weeks. It is now Nov 13th. They are so careless with the repairs. I have installed new flooring as I thought the job was completed and now when they come to do repairs they just throw their tools on my new floor with no concern for damaging anything in the room. They told me they were to come on Thursday to start repairs. They showed up on Tuesday morning without calling first. My daughter didn't know they were at the house looking for a way in as the doors were locked. [redacted]. [redacted] Everytime I asked about the inspections their answer was the engineer would sign off on the work and everthing was good. There was no engineer inspecting the work. [redacted]. I want my sunroom completed and to be structurally correct and safe. I don't want the roof caving in. [redacted]Desired SettlementI want the roof fixed on the sunroom and the walls reinstalled and finished like I had them before they ripped the walls down for inspection. I want reimbursement for anything they damage like the floor. I want the job I paid for not some junk work that is going to collapse with the first snow storm.
