my husband bought a vanity online for a christmas present. owner did not budge on price because she assured it was refurbished and painted with a special paint, and perfect. got it delivered without a wheel even attached. it was all beat up, paint missing, screws missing, wood chipped and falling off. I contacted her and she refused to refund my money. I told her she could even refund half so that we could fix it up how it should be. she said no. I complained on her website and left a negative review. if she is truly a good business owner, she should know that negative reviews are to be displayed as well, not just the ones that suit her needs. she deleted it and was defaming me all over her page. she also put up a disclaimer AFTER she ripped us off, advising that furniture will be "scarred." too bad she just posted this AFTER she delivered us a piece of garbage, illegally. she knew we didnt have a truck and thats why we PAID to have it delivered. after calling her out for the thief that she is and now that she lost a few customers, she told me she would refund my money IF I drove 30 miles away and took the HUGE item to her store, knowing that that was NOT a possibility for us. I want my money refunded, and the item picked up, just as it was delivered. I also want my negative feedback to remain on her page. she deletes the negative, deceiving her customers as if everything is just perfect and everyone is satisfied. she is a very dishonest, shady individual. her company was not listed with the Revdex.com last week, which is a red flag. the vanity is unusable and I want a refund. I also filed a suit against her in court. its junk, and the minute I filed a review, she deleted and blocked me from all of her pages. shes a thief! a normal business owner would refund the $300, make a customer happy, and avoid losing business over a few hundred dollars. obviously, she desperately needs the money which is very sad. I feel sorry for her! I filed with the Federal Trade Commission today.
