Dealing with Marc has been one of the most disorganized and frustrating experiences I’ve ever had as a customer. He showed little care for his products, his scheduling, or his customers.
I visited the store and ordered carpet, paying in full. Although Marc wanted to schedule installation within five days, I requested a date three weeks out to give them extra time to get everything organized. Despite that, it seems the carpet was never even ordered — and no one bothered to call to postpone the installation.
I took a day off work for the scheduled install, and no one showed up. When I called to ask what was going on, I was told there was a “delivery issue” and the carpet was delayed. No courtesy call, no apology.
We rescheduled for a week and a half later… and unbelievably, it happened again. No call, no installer, and when I phoned to ask, Marc casually told me he was too busy to call.
Too busy for basic customer service? Absolutely unacceptable.
No “deal” is worth the chaos of dealing with Marc or this level of disorganization.
I can't comment on the installation quality, because it has yet to happen!

[redacted] ***Thank you for forwarding me this customers concernI called the customer [redacted] yesterday and had a great conversation with himI was able to go over his invoice and explain in great detail the breakdown of each line item on the invoice and how we still have to show GST and therefor the 5% was backed out of his material priceThe $the customer is speaking of was actually the GST although upon his final purchase we further discounted the material to provide additional savings to himThe material of approx 1600sf [redacted] mentions is what we measured for as well as reviewed and confirmed with him at the store prior to his full paymentAfter explaining this to [redacted] he was appreciative of my call and how I took the tikme to explain everything to himI asked how his new flooring looked and he said he wwas very happy with it as well as the fast turn around (measured and installed all within a week of coming into the store) [redacted] said he used us in the past, again now and will be using us again in the future.Should you require anything further from me, please dont hesitate to callRespectfully,Gary H [redacted] ManagerOffice: [redacted] Fax: [redacted] End of The Roll - Edmonton South
I went to End Of The Roll in Orangeville with my wife to buy a carpet for my bedroomMy wife and I, having never purchased or installed carpets before, trusted that the owner, *** would help us out with the measurementsI provided the owner with a paper with all the exact measurements in inchesKeep in mind that this included the entrance to the room, the room itself, and an exit doorHe said he would calculate the individual measurements and put them altogether into feet for me and provide the exact size I requireHe told me 15'x12' was what I needed
I scheduled my appointment for 4pm today and the installers showed up at 2:23pmI called *** and he ensured they would re-attend at 4pm, which they did
The installers were incredible and very professional and the install itself was going great until one of the employees advised that the carpet was too small for the roomI called *** back, assuming that he would correct the mistake and that would be the end of it, as
