Review: I contracted Enclosed Vehicle Transport, Inc. to transport a vehicle from California to Massachusetts in May of 2013. A down payment of $380.00 was authorized and processed to Enclosed Vehicle Transport, Inc. by providing them with my [redacted] number. The payment was processed on May 15, 2013 and the vehicle was transported to Massachusetts. The balance of the transport fees were paid directly to the driver of the transport vehicle. In September of 2013, I noticed an additional charge for $380.00 to Enclosed Vehicle Transport, Inc. on my [redacted] statement. The date of the charge was July 23, 2013. I called Enclosed Vehicle Transport, Inc. to try and resolve the issue. I was told by [redacted] at Enclosed Vehicle Transport, Inc. that it was their merchant who made the charge in error and it would be corrected the next business day. Since that time, I have spoken to both [redacted] and [redacted] at Enclosed Vehicle Transport, Inc. roughly 6 times and each time told that the charge was being refunded by their merchant and it was done by mistake by their merchant, not Enclosed Vehicle Transport, Inc. I was told to wait 3-4 days to see the refund and nothing happend. I was then told to wait 7-10 days and nothing happened. I notified my banking institution about the [redacted] charge and the failed attempts to resolve the issue with Enclosed Vehicle Transport, Inc. I am now in the process of submitting a charge dispute with my banking institution.Desired Settlement: Refund to my [redacted] for the $380.00 unauthorized charge on July 23, 2013.
