Enclave at Grapevine

I lived in this apartment for over a year, never been late for any payment. By the end of the lease I was planning to move to FLorida and wanted to be on the month to month program however the rate I was quoted was over my budget and that's when an employee there convinced me to sign a 6 months lease to drop the rate and told me that I can cancel any time by submitting a 60 days notice. When I was about to move out and submitted the 60 days notice I was told that I will have to pay 85% of the remaining balance as a penalty for early termination ( Again I was told I only need to provide a 60 day notice) they also put me on collection knowing that they never tried to contact me via mail, phone, email or any way of communication. They dropped my credit tremendously. I called them to talk to a manager and nobody has had called me back.
