This floor was installed during June of 2015. Materials were purchased by business on June 4, 2015 from Home Depot. Installation followed approximatel
The contract states that I have a lifetime warranty on services which were provided that is included but not limited to flooring and interior paint.
On July 12, 2017 a text notification was sent that part of the flooring had came up and caused a hazard for room entry. The business owner initially responded saying that he would be out to fix the floor. However, he never showed up and attempts were made afterwards. Several follow ups were given via phone calls including voicemails, emails, social media notifications, and continuous text messages from that day until yesterday, January 4, 2018. However, this issue is still unresolved.
I expect better business ethics and follow up. I would appreciate the floor being fixed. I would also like for the owner to follow up with other referred clients provided by myself to ensure that they will not have to go through the same issues with follow up.
This threshold was installed over 2 years. The company warranty is on the labor and all the thresholds were properly installed. I can not guarantee the products which was purchased from Home Depot. The threshold has broken that leads from the den to bedroom. The.cause for it breaking could have been from a variety of issues. We are not responsible for a broken threshold. We can come back out but she will have to purchase the new threshold and pay for it to be reinstalled.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
During the initial response to this matter, this bogus information was not explained. Additionally that was not part of the initial warranty agreement. Most importantly, installment was not done correctly as this same problem had to be addressed before, which the company just glued the piece back down and left glue for future references. Initially the piece was nailed down (first installment) and was not redone (nailed back down) upon a week of it coming up. The company attempted to satisfy the customer with that partial fix which was advised at that time if it didn't work, I would make further contact. Consequently, there is now a broken piece due to poor fixing of the initial matter.
