I don’t even know where to begin. My experience with Empire has been horrible! I had vinyl plank flooring installed in 2 bedrooms and vinyl tile installed in my bathroom in May of this year. The bathroom installer was very unprofessional and in such a hurry to get away that he left my floor in a mess. He smeared grout (which was not even suppose to be used) all over the floor and even on some of the walls and molding. He clogged up my bathtub with grout which required a service call from my plumber. The only positive thing I can say about Empire is that I was reimbursed for the plumbing expense. The installer did not connect the toilet correctly and to this day the grout he applied at the bottom of the toilet is still wet. When I asked him about cleaning up the grout he said “you will have to clean it because it’s past time for me to leave”. I don’t know how to remove the grout and even if I did I’m unable to get to some of the places like behind the toilet. After calling multiple times there have been 2 inspections performed and lots of pictures taken and still nothing has been done even though I was told that the flooring would be re-installed. I recently was put in touch with an “install manager” who set up an appointment to have a third inspection performed but the installer was a no show. After calling the manager about this I was told he would look into it and call me back to set up an appointment. That’s happened twice and I’m still waiting to hear from him.

I hired this company twice and they are a disappointmentI was promised the flooring will be done on a Thursday, but Friday comes and they still say no way to finish until Tuesday Guess what I already scheduled moves and furniture, on Saturday, and they have zero, I mean zero care and understanding about my case, I know I am over paying with this company I advise you to go with other companies to avoid all the mess and the mistreatments

I was never told to put tile under cabinetsI measured the tile before remodel started and was told to install tile where the vinyl was installedI did thatafter the remodel started she changed her mind and wanted tile under the cabinets
and sink only, it was never measured that wayI did that without extra chargeit would have cost $the washer had a dime size mark on topI filled it with a part epoxy mix per her requestShe said later it didn't workShe did not have a new washer, it seemed it was at least years oldWasher had other marks on it also, besides the little one she said I didAlso, I'm not sure I even put the mark on the lid but I fixed it using material she requestedThe floor was not level from time it was built, maybe years, I did the best to my ability to level itI have the kit to seal tile and tried at least times to seal it, one day she yelled when I went there to seal tile so I leftI went numerous times to her house to work and she was having a bad day or other reasons why I couldn't workI am very busy so she then would mess my schedule up with other clientsI also put additional work in kitchen to living room, tile in front cabinetsinches by feet that I didn't get paid forIt would have cost $She requested vinyl under kitchen sink in cabinetI supplied vinyl and installed thatIt would cost $I didn't get paid for that eitherAs far as key, she gave it to me and was told by her to come and work since she gave me a key .I did not request a keyWhen I tried to get it back to her I sent it registered mail and she never picked it up at post office or accepted it at her houseIt was returned to me by post office so I gave it to the general contractor to give to herThe sunroom was full of furniture and boxes when I returned once to fish base, couldn't be done with all that in wayThe schluter was done correctlyI have been installing tile and floor coverings since so I believe I am an experienced floorcovering and tile installerThere was never a contract written on this and she seemed to change her mind after the factEverything was paid for except the items in this list

This is a total pack of lies to put it in a nice way I have lots off documentation and am not wasting my time on this web site customer beware!

I advise you to go with other companies to avoid all the mess and the mistreatments.
