Empire Title Company was paid almost three years ago to have a lein released off of property we soldSomehow, that lein was NEVER paid to the leinhloderThe check was sent to the bank who had the mortageEmpire had changed the closing by hand writing the fact that they were sending the check to the bank instead of the leinholder, without our knowledge They also refused to talk to the new title company we were work8by with on the property we were currently sellingWe are still confused on how the first property got released and the lein ended up on the second propertyWe did not initial any handwritten changesAvoid this company!
