Review: Empire Remodelers remodeled my kitchen in May 2013, There were many problems during the services and personal repairs I had to do afterwards costing over 1k...which I will not elaborate on here... But there was one issue which I could not repair myself....... The new pipes that they installed was unwrapped and freezes during the winter. In winter 2014, I called [redacted] from Empire, nervous and afraid about the freezing pipes.....this has never happened to me in the 12 years I've been in this house (I lost all water to the kitchen). He told me it was not his problem. I explained that none of the other pipes in my house is freezing....only the one he installed.....He told me to call a plumber. I did, and the plumber told me they would destroy the kitchen to fix it and I should get a Contractor to do it if I wanted to save the Kitchen. I got through the winter by blasting the oven and heat and leaving the water running 24/7. This summer 2014 Empire Remodellers started contacting me for new work. I told them they did even fix what they did last year! From May 2014 till now(October 2014) Ive been hearing "I'll get back to you next week." Next week never comes. But I still get the occasional call for new work.Desired Settlement: [redacted] Told me exactly what needing to be done to get the pipes wrapped this summer.....but he never came to do it. I would like the Pipe to be wrapped so that my family can have water in the kitchen this Winter. Or to be reimbursed for having another contractor fix this issue.
