I purchased a 2017 *** on January 17,2020 from Empire automotive group. There was no title for the car, so my own plates had to be removed and I had to pay $26.50 to get temporary plates.
Also, there was no inspection sticker, because *** said I did not need one. Also, there is supposed to be a fob for the car,and *** said there was none made for that year. When I told him it was in the manual, he said he couldn't get it, because he wasn't a *** dealer.

I had spoken with *** and her family regarding her deal. We had the title just not in our facility. It was obtained from our *** location. I agreed to get her vin check done as soon as possible which was completed within 48 hours of our conversation and now the vehicle documents are currently at the registry ready to be processed as quickly as the *** registry can process it. Additionally The *** that *** purchased was a "L" trim level and a keyfob was not available on that trim level. I have spoken to her/ her family and they understand. *** called me after our face to face conversation and thanked me for taking time with her and her family to go over things and I believe situation is now handled. I agree that communication really was what led to her frustration and I have taken it upon myself to regroup as an organization and teach/train my staff to be mindful of the client and keep them updated at every step of the sales process. REOPEN COMPLAINT # *** I am still trying to receive everything I was promised from my first complaint. Empire's General manager (***) ,because there was no title for my car,required me to pay $26.50 for a temporary plate. He promised to reimburse me $55.00 for my inspection sticker. Because there was no title, the car could not be registered or inspected. This finally came to fruition in March. He was given the receipts from both . Now, I am still waiting. I called the beginning of March, he was working on it.Three weeks later I called again and *** said he put in to the main office for a check to be cut for me for $81.50. I also asked what about the 55 in. flat screen tv? He said I was not going to get one;because he lost $1500 shipping the car up here. The flyer said, if you purchased a car from Empire, you would receive at fiftyfive in.flat screen tv. The manager that was on duty when I purchased the car said, "all you have to do is make two payments and the tv is yours". Finally, I called again last Thursday,and was told, *** was out because of the virus, and would not be back until May 2nd. Could he help me? I said , this matter is between *** and myself. He insisted I tell him ,so he could help me. I did, and this is what happened. He asked me how to spell my name. He said he would call me back. In about 10 minutes he did and told me the main office said they have never cut a check for anyone by that name!! HELP!!! Refund my $81.50. Also my 55" flat screen tv
