Emory Heart and Vascular Center

I received my office visit bill and paid it on two occasions @ $45.00 each. My last bill received was past due for $90.00. I contacted the office as to why. They claim I have a past due amount which was sent to a collection agent in 2014. I questioned why my bill only has an outstanding due amount of $90.00. They stated the amount is what is owned the office currently however they have to clear any outstanding past due first. Someone from billing was to call me but I have not heard from them. The amount of $244.00 they claim outstanding was sent to a collection agent which was reported on my credit. They are in the process of sending my current amount due to a collection agent again.

I'm pretty sure this is unethical,
