Review: In September I ordered two double entrance doors. They arrived in late December and finally installed. At first the doors would not close they had to fix it. When the doors were painted the color was bled into the inside. The rubber bottom is slowly falling out and making harder to close the door. Since they are double doors there has to be a strip that covers any space between the two doors. These doors do not have them. As a result the cold weather is coming in. Doors are supposed to be energy efficient. Temperature in my home will not exceed over 60 degrees due to the draft from the doors. As a result I have to leave the heat on to 70 degrees all day and night long. Six months ago I had my entire home walls insulated so the only draft is coming from the front entrance doors. We are now in February and this problem is still not resolved. I have been more than patient waiting for this to be resolved. As a result of this problem I have been battling the [redacted] since Early January until now. I have requested a refund and no respose from him regarding the refund.Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded for $1,800.

Review: I gave Emerald Doors a deposit of $495.00 for a new door to my co-op. I was promised the door would be delivered in two weeks After two weeks, I contacted the business and asked for the status. I was told that it would take longer as this was their busy season. Another two weeks passed and I again contacted the business. I was then advised that there was an "error" and the manufacturer never received my order and Emerald Doors lost my paper work and would now need to come back to my co-op and remeasure. I advised [redacted], [redacted], that Iit was over a month and I wanted my deposit returned. I have yet to receive by deposit back. Emails and phone calls to [redacted] go unanswered.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $495.00 deposit.
