I have a signed proposal with *** for work that was supposed to be done on my chimney. I addition to the signed proposal, I had to send 1/2 the estimate via check to *** for the work to begin. The $296.50 check was cashed on 6/3/2020 by ***. After numerous follow ups to the office phone number & ***'s cell phone to determine when the work would be starting I never got an answer and the work has not yet been completed. It has been brought to my attention that *** is in jail for his 8th or 9th OWI offense so obviously he will not be completing the work he was hired to do and he has already cashed my check.

called and agreed to do chimney tuck pointing work on my chimney. He contacted me and Scheduled appointment with me on 8/16/19 to paid 50% down of $2500.00. I wrote a check for $1300.00 which he cashed on the same day. He told me the money was needed to order the supplies. He agreed work be done on 7/20/19. 7/20/19 was a very rainy day, I contacted him and he moved the day to 7/27/19 but he never showed up to do the work. I called on 7/28/19, 7/29, 7/30, 7/31 but no answered and messages stated voice mail was full. I sent a certified letter on 8/1/19 and was returned to me. I continued to called on 8/19 and 8/20 I was able to leave messages then stated message stated voice mail full and no return calls. Called on 8/26, 8/27 but message stated voice mail is not set up.
