I contacted Elliott & Associates about radon remediation because of their Revdex.com rating. When I initially contacted them I was given a phone estimate but was told that there would need to be an onsite inspection for an exact price and that there would be a $25 charge. When I inquired as to why the $25 charge I was told something to the effect that they have "information on many programs that can help pay for radon mitigation and that this would be given to me at the time of the onsite inspection". After the onsite inspection I was told that a formal quote would be sent along with the information on financial assistance, which he said was regardless of income level. After contacting them several times, they have not provided me with any information on financial assistance. I was promised a phone call 3 weeks ago by the president of the company which has not happened. I feel that this is deceptive advertising. I have copies of all of my correspondence to substantiate what has transpired.
