Elkridge Movers

I called Elkridge Movers on Monday, January 20, 2019 and they gave me a rate of $95/hr. I told them I could only afford 3 hrs and asked if they would be able to do the move within that time. The office mgr said they could so I scheduled the move for the next day, January 21st at 10am. They were an hour early but I let them come in and start anyway. The man who spoke English had a lot of paperwork so I went over the pricing with him and was making sure they could do it within 2-3 hrs. The guy on the scene completely changed the pricing and said it would cost about $500+. I got upset because that's not what the mgr had agreed to. I said if they couldn't do this move in 3 hrs for $300 or less, I couldn't afford it and I refused to sign anything until the mgr verified the price he quoted me and it was written on the contract. The mgr told me they would do this for the price he quoted and the movers would change the price on the contract. I was upset and I told the movers I felt like they were ripping me off.

The price was never changed on the contract. The English speaking mover got so mad after that and
he was calling me a B____ and screaming at me in front of my two young children. My daughter started crying so I called and texted the manager about the movers and he promised me that the owner, Dennis P, would be at my house in 20 minutes. That was at 10:40am and the owner
never showed up. I texted the mgr again because the movers kept harassing me and calling me the B
word. They were moving very slowly and the English speaking guy said, 'I promise you you're going
to lose and 2 hrs yeah right, you B____.? He called me a liar and my daughter was so upset at this point and was still crying. I'm running out of space, so I'm going to finish this in a letter that I'm mailing to you with pictures. In short, they tried to steal my furniture, broke and ruined many items and stole my AirPods. All in all they ruined thousands of dollars worth of my furniture.
