Review: ADT sent one of there workers to my home to update the system. I told him that I were no longer a customer of ADT. He said that his job was to update. When he finish, I signed what I thought was a work order release. If he had told me that it was a contract I would never sign it. I fell as if I was tricked. Customer copy # [redacted]Desired Settlement: being that I was so stupid, I will be willing to pay a third of the amount of $1632.00.

Review: They don't provide service that they promise you to sign a contract. They will not cancel the contract even if their system don't perform as needed.

Adt elite security system came to my front door and convinced me their system is much better than the one I had. They claim they would switch me over to adt for no cost other than the monthly monitoring. When they came to install my system they omitted my outside alarm and my attic heat sensors. When I discovered this they had to return several times to try and fix the problem. When they claimed to have fixed it the alarm would go off every time it would thunder. After notifying them, they arrived several days later and claimed they fixed it again. Well after some weather came thru it did not go off. Fixed right? Not, after further inspecting it my self they had disconnected it from my alarm panel and told me they fixed it. Now I don't have any heat sensors in my attic until they return after several calls and fixed it again. So they claim. I set off a fire sensor in my kitchen and guess what no alarm. I called them again and they claim they forgot to program it in the system, but charged me $120.00 for a new sensor. All this time charging me for something I don't have. Nearly a year later my alarm goes off, guess what? No one calls alarm on for several minutes. I decide to call them again to cancel the contract. I was told they have to have a service tech come to my house and confirm it cannot work at my house. Remember if you will, this will be the same people that disconnected by sensors and told me they fixed it in the first place. For the last 9 months I had so sense of security at all. Their security system is complete trash.Desired Settlement: They disconnected and cut up my wires from my safeguard security system, it install their wireless system that don't work. They lied to me on several occasions . I would like them to make it right by having safeguard put my system back the way it was before they touched it. I also want out of their bogus contract.
