RE: [redacted], To whom it may concern,
We are following up on a complaint made to Revdex.com by [redacted] [redacted]...
[redacted] [redacted] We, 1825495 Alberta Ltd., are the seller and have now received a complaint in June 2016.
The unit was sold on August 22, 2015 and also verified the same date with the finance company. As per the Buyer's Right to Cancel, the customer had 10 days to contact us, the seller, to cancel their contract. As noted on the back of their contract which was delivered to them on August 22, 2015, "To cancel, you must give notice of cancellation at the address in this Contract. You must give notice of cancellation by a method that will allow you to prove that you gave notice, including registered mail, fax, or by personal delivery." As Mrs. [redacted] states her reason to cancel was she received no new product and was left the demonstration machine and only a long distance cr. They did purchase the product that was demonstrated and left in their home on August 22, 2015 and the toll free phone number and fax number are on our contract that was left that date as well.
She also states they have sent letters, called, and personally reached out to Paul K[redacted], Ryan S[redacted] and Anthony L[redacted]. We have not received any letter by registered mail, fax or personal delivery within the Buyer's Right to Cancel. As to why or how she would have personal contact information for the above mentioned, we are unsure. As clearly stated to cancel, you must give notice of cancellation at the address in this contract, which is the same as listed above. Our toll free phone number has voicemail for after hours and our fax number is available 7 days a week, 24 hours per day.
On September 21, 2015 [redacted] received a letter from the [redacted]'s requesting to cancel their payments [redacted] [redacted]. Their first payment was due on September 22, 2015 (30 days after the date of the contract) and they did not get the letter in time to stop the payment therefore the payment was processed and went through their account. September 21, 2015 was the first form of communication with [redacted] and the customer since August 22, 2015 when the verification was done.
Sometime after September 22, 2015, we are unsure of the date, the customer had come into our office at the address listed above and on their contract. They were requesting to cancel the contract [redacted]. As this was clearly after the 10 days, we would not accept the return of the product. We had then contacted [redacted] at the time, and they did confirm with us that the customer had made their first payment on September 22, 2015.
Without further proof, we are left to assume Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] did not exercise their Buyer's Right to Cancel. If they need assistance with their product they can contact us at 1-888-[redacted].
Sincerely,
Michelle R[redacted]
General Manager
