Elite Decorative Concrete

I contracted with Elite Decorative Concrete, LLC, owner ***. The original project was completed to my satisfaction. When I paid him I mistakenly paid him $250.00 more than the agreed to price. I called him about the extra $250.00 and he said he'd send a check. No check ever arrived. Some months later I contacted Craig again to repair some problems. I sent emails and called him. I did not receive a reply until I went on his *** site and gave him a 1 star review. He called within a 1/2 hour. We set up a date for him to solve the problem. I sent $405.00 to his wife, *** for materials need to do the repair. That's the last I saw of my money or ***. I called many times and sent texts and emails. Once in awhile he'd respond and we'd set up another date to do the repair. No show. Finally got an attorney to send a letter threatening court action. We got no response. It would cost me more than the $655.00 to pursue this matter in court especially with no guarantee of payment even if I won.
