I have reviewed both accounts and both have been canceled and refunded to the credit card on file, these refunds were processed on 4/10/and depending on her back can take 24-hours to appear back in her accountI have also sent an email
directly to Ms*** with a copy of the screen shots of both accounts showing canceled for her to keep for her records as proof of cancellation

Sent: Monday, October 24, 1:PM Subject: reply to complaint- *** To whom it may concern: On 2/18/2015 Ms*** enrolled on a one year membership agreement that rolled over to a month to month after the initial one year term as stated on the contract agreement she signed
Throughout the initial term Ms*** fell behind multiple times on 2/10/she was contacted by our in house collection department and paid the past due amountShe stated during that call she would be in to the club to fill out a cancellation form and cancel the month to month membershipThis was not doneOur in house collection dept contacted her on 4/8/16- left a message, again on 4/21/spoke with her and again she stated she would be in to pay then balance and cancel, she did notWe continued to call and leaves messages on 6/9/6/15/2016, 6/24/2016, 7/1/2016, 7/18/2016, an email was sent 7/18/calls and messages continued 8/1/2016, another email sent 8/2/calls and message 8/15/2016, 8/17/8/26/On August 31st she was contacted once again, she stated she would be in that day to resolveShe came in, she was offered a 50% settlement to resolve balance and cancel membership, she was advised if the account was not resolved it would be closed out of our office and sent to a 3rd party collection agency, she was given until 930/to pay settlement offerOn 9/1/2016- The account was written off and sent to collections, then was pulled back from 3rd party collection agency to give Ms*** an opportunity till 9/30/to take advantage of 50% settlement offer and close accountOn 9/28/2016- a final email was sent to Ms*** informing her the settlement needed to be paid by 9/30/On October 1st- account was closed from our office and sent to a 3rd party collection agencyHad Ms*** done as she had stated on a couple different occasions, come in and fill out cancellation form to cancel, the balance would have stopped accumulating and it would have been closed and canceledBest we can do at this time is contact the 3rd party collection agency the account has been assigned to and authorize them to offer her a 50% settlement to close account from there, and as a customer service offer member months of access and usage to the club so she doesn't feel like she is paying for something she never got to useThank you In health, Marta *** TX Corporate Administrator (956) 800-

I spoke with Ms. [redacted] who had been attempting to contact the fitness manager of the location who has not been employed with the company since November. I am waiting for some documentation from her, once received, I will be speaking with VP of company to authorize cancellation and refund.
