also replaced anything that may have even potentially been affected by the oil issue. We also have provided a loaner vehicle during the repair. None of this has come with a charge or fee. This will also have no affect on the remainder of the factory drivetrain warranty, as that will remain in place jsut like it was prior to the damage.

Every attempt was made to get this deal done with both names. In order to do that, paper work was submitted in both names initially. In the end, for this vehicle, that was not possible, as the lending institution would not approve a loan structured that way. The customer was fully aware of this,...

seeing as he had to come back and resign the paper work (retail installment contract, buyer's order, etc...) in his name only. This was the only way this transaction was acceptable to the bank.

vehicle at Elgin Hyundai. A review of the paperwork reveals that Mrs. [redacted] was the individual with whom we did business. It was not a co-sign situation. In regard to the license plates for the car Mrs. [redacted] purchased, they were properly registered in the state of [redacted] where Mrs. [redacted] resides.
Finally, it appears that Ms. [redacted] abandoned a vehicle at the dealership; a vehicle that was unrelated to the purchase transaction. She left the car on our property for almost 9 months. We clearly could have charged a storage fee for her unauthorized use of our facility, but, as a courtesy, we did not do so. We are not aware of any damage to the vehicle.

Completely disappointed in their service department. I have a 2011 Hyundai [redacted] with just over 70k miles. They pushed the 75k mile tune up $350 early, and then told me I need $850 in work including front and rear breaks. My wife did the tune up thinking it was absolutely needed (service representative sold it). But I took the vehicle to two other mechanics. Rear breaks and 70% of all other service that were "needed" were far from needing attention. I had the front breaks and the serpentine belt replaced for 1/2 of what Hyundai wanted to charge me and I didn't get suckered into the rest of their sales pitch. NEVER GOING TO THEM AGAIN!!!

First and foremost, Elgin Hyundi apologizes for any and all inconvenience and  aggravation that was caused from this issue. Some of the delays between phone calls was due to trying to find other ways to install the heated seats that the customer wanted. Since the complaint, we have tried...

different ways to satisfy Mr. [redacted].  We attempted to trade him out of his current Tucson into a vehicle with factory equipped heated seats. That seemed to be a little to far over budget for Mr. [redacted]. In the end we provided a free remote start and refunded him the cost of the after market heated seats.
