Great job replacing my roof, had it done in a day and half. They cleaned up everything when done and Gary was awesome to work with. I would highly recommend them. In fact I’m getting more estimates for other projects I need done outside
I worked with Gary when a storm caused damage to my room. Gary and Don were prompt, answered every question I had and had a crew to my house two days after I gave the ok to replace my roof. Gary was onsite while my roof was worked on, texted me pictures of the progress, and ensured that the best quality was given. The job was done at a fair price, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else. Gary answered calls and texts and was over anytime I needed him.
I'm picky about how things are done. Most of the time I do work myself because I don't trust anybody to do things the way I want them done. Elegant Home Exterior was excellent. Their price was very good and included everything, including tax. Any little thing I asked them to do they did without question and without adding to the price. The materials were top quality, the work was fast and professionally done. And interactions with the company were timely and courteous. When they were done the roof looked great and the cleanup was perfect. I'd use these guys again.
On 5/23/2019 this company manager or what ever his position is called me on the phone threatening to put a lean on my property is I didn't pay for a $1000 invoice right now. This was for putting a very small tarp over a whole in the roof until my insurance company decided what to do. At first,, the guy that put up the tarp tried to collect that money from me the same day. Which was shady to me. Not to mention A $1000 for something thats suppose to be $300 to$400. And is suppose to be submitted to my insurance for payment anyway. This made feel very uncomfortable. So I decided to check around for another company. And I found one. But with my busy schedule, I forgot to contact the first company. Simple mistake. So both companies showed up on Friday the 23rd. And I had to tell the first guy, SORRY but I'm using this other company. And the first guy was there literally 2 mins. and left. didn't seem upset or nothing. 10 mins later I get a call from Don R whole ripped me, THE NO CLUE CUSTOMER, a new one. If I can post pics of the text I got from this maniac, I will. I can't remember ever being berated by a business rep like this guy in my life. I worked construction for years and not even the worst venders would talk to a customer like this. This guy literally was blaming me like I was the vender and he was the angry customer. Saying how unprofessional I was!!? WHAT?? who does that? Then I told him I will slam him for this behavior all over the internet. His response was: I will sue you for slander. Does this sound like a person that should be talking to customers? Wait, It gets worse. I ask him to stop texting and calling me 3 plus times or I was calling the police. Guess what? I had to call the police and make a harassment complaint. I sent him to pic of the cop car to show him I wasn't playing around. This man needs serious anger management. Ive never see a more unprofessional company rep. Based on what I went thru with this company, I wouldn't recommend them to NOBODY!
Just to set the record straight no one threatened to put a lien on this Gentleman's house . But one thing we did do is go out there and put an emergency tarp on his house after a storm. We told him we would work with his insurance company. And get his roof Paid for By insurance because of the damage. So he would have no money out of his pocket. But the day that my salesman showed up at his house he had another roofing company there and told my sales Guy to leave his property After all the hard work and effort we put into working with him. He was trying to make money off the sale of his tile on his roof. Once I told him that companies no longer pay you for the old tile on your roof his whole attitude changed. He said I had a guy come by and tell me he will pay me for my tile I said good luck. The day that I called him after my sales guy left his property. He told me we're not using you guys you charge me a $1000 for a Tarp. I said no we are not. We got into a heated conversation on the phone. I sent him a bill for $400 for the tarp that we put on his house we still have not got paid. And hes making a complaint against use people never cease to amaze me trying to get things done for free that's this guy. We always handle our customers with the upmost respect and dignity read our reviews. Last thing you can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all the people all the time. No matter how hard we worked we Deafly we're not gonna to please this guy he was looking for free free free. After 20 years of being the owner of this company I've learned how to read people very well. He knew exactly what he was doing we did nothing wrong because we did no work on his house when it comes to the roof matter of fact we save them thousands of dollars by putting a tarp on his roof and making sure that no water came in his house now if that's not customer service I don't know what else to say . I told him good luck and I would definitely like to get paid the $400.00 for the work that I paid the guys to perform on his roof. Don k R CEO of Elegant home exterior.
These guys stepped in and fixed problems brought about by another company, and they did so at a fair price in a speedy manner. I can't recommend these guys enough. Absolutely great to have such honest folk in this business.
My husband and I were very impressed with the speed with which the roofers at Elegant Home Exterior were able to provide us a bid and to respond to our questions. They were very knowledgeable and provided many recommendations for success. They gave us a killer cheap offer, blasting away the competition with an amazing price. And yet the quality of the work was not lacking. When an extra layer of shingles was found, they worked extra that day and came back early the next (without raising the price) to ensure the job was done. They did a thorough job ensuring that all of the previous layers of shingles were removed properly and cleaned up from our yard. Our neighbors even commented on how efficiently they applied the new roof and cleaned up afterwards. Would recommend!
