False advertising and financial fraud.
On site when shopping, there was no notice of a shipping delay, just that shipping will occur within 1-2 business days. As such, paid for express shipping as was required for church streaming. No word for a week until reached out. Reply was item was delayed a few weeks and that will be sent and still charged charged express shipping. False advertising and financial fraud.

Desired Outcome

Due to unrelayed delay, not needed anymore. Per other users, this is common and cancelling results in charges to the one ordering. Either cancel and refund entirely or disregard no longer required express.

Ordered masks during the coronavirus pandemic because this company "suggested" they had stock. They took my money no problem (after price gouging), but had no stock and no idea when or if I would ever receive them. When I cancelled the order they charged me a 10% fee. Thieves. And so unethical during a pandemic.

Completely wasted everyone's time by making promises they should have never made. Thousands of people could have been looking elsewhere in the meantime instead of waiting for nothing. They are also trying to keep money from sale they never processed. I will be reporting them as they are doing this to multiple individuals

EIO charged me 10% for not having the mask I ordered
Ordered this on 02/21, 3M™ 8210 Particulate Respirator, 8210PB1-QP, 20 eaches/pack Ã? 10, for $225. What a great price for 200 N95 masks! Got this email from EIO on 2/22, "I just wanted to take a second to thank you for your business, and your recent purchase from our store. If you have any questions or if there is anything else I can help you with, please reach out to me without hesitation."

I sent his email to EIO on 2/23,"Thank you for your email. When you will ship this out? can you send me the tracking number?" I got this email from EIO on 2/24, "This order has not shipped and may not be for a while. 3M is currently out of stock as these are in high demand. We have them on order but we do not have an exact date from 3M right now. It is possible it will be sooner as well but since 3M is also sold out they are working their hardest to get all our orders sent out as fast as possible.
We are letting people know that if they have already ordered or are thinking of ordering soon they should because if the demand stays the same you will have to join at the end of a longer line rather than being in a group to get the first batch that comes in stock soon!"

I sent this email to EIO on 3/16, "I saw that you have charged my credit card for $238.77 on 2/27. Does this mean that you shipped out the masks on 2/27? My card usually does not get charged before my order gets shipped from other online stores." I got this email from EIO on 3/17, "Our system automatically charges on the 7th day after purchasing and then deletes the credit card information for your safety." I sent EIO this email on 3/17, "If you have not shipped out the masks to me, you can send me a refund by casher's check or money order." I thought EIO has deleted my credit information based on their 3/17 email and this is why I asked to get a refund check from them. I got this email from EIO on 3/17, "Your order has been canceled; Mastercard $238.77;
Refund Shopify_payments - $214.89". I sent this email to EIO on 3/17, "So you just refund me $214.8? why not full refund?"

I got lost with this. EIO never has the masks I ordered and charged my card for over two weeks before I noticed. Then they just took 10% off my payment from the refund. This is pretty easy way to make money. I will call them and get their reason for this 10% charge. Maybe I need to ask a full refund plus 10% of the payment for my time wasted by waiting the order from them.
I will file a complaint with a government agency and trade organization if I could not get a full refund from EIO.

The online retailer is using deceptive and unfair business practices to make money off the coronovirus situation.
I placed an online order for 3M 8210 Particulate Respirators with the online retailer *** on March 2, 2020. The seller gave no indication on their website or during the purchase process that the item was not in stock (and that it would not would it be in stock in any reasonable time frame). After the purchase I waited a few days and when the item didn't ship I emailed the company about the status. They failed to respond in a timely fashion so I eventually sent another email asking to cancel the order. When they did respond they said that they had cancelled the order but kept 10% since it was past an 6 day deadline (by a few hours), which was a policy that was not clearly stated when making the purchase. This is unacceptable because if they had responded in a more timely manner I would have cancelled within their arbitrary time-frame, yet they conveniently waited until after their deadline had passed to respond. This is a business practice that is both deceptive and unfair as the company is trying to profit off the coronavirus outbreak through unethical business practices.

Desired Outcome

Refund of the full amount for the out of stock item that was purchased.

I order mask from the site which knew it didn't have the requested product nor could it meet the delivery expectations.
In light of the coronavirus, I ordered N-95 mask and paid for expedited shipping. The company did not disclose the fact that they were sold out of the product and unable to accommodate the delivery request which was paid for.

I would like to receive the full refund I requested for an order that I canceled after never receiving my order.

on February 27, 2020.
I never received any type of communication on when the order would ship. I contacted customer service and was told to download the Arrive app to my mobile device to track the order. I did this and never saw the order move from the status of "Order placed".
I contacted to see if I could get an estimate on when I would receive the order. No response - multiple times.
I started researching the company via social media and found dozens on complaints from others in the exact same situation as me. No one was receiving their orders and no one could get any information from this supposed company.

I contacted them again via text and email asking to cancel my order. My order was almost instantaneously canceled and I was told I would be refunded 90% of my order. They would be keeping 10% for a cancellation fee.

Evidently this is their MO. They hold your order forever and never ship it or give you updates on it so that the consumer will cancel the order and EIO can collect 10% of the order without every completing the order.

This is unethical and dishonest. I would like the remaining 10% of my refund returned to me immediately.

I ordered respirator masks on Feb 22, 2020. The website stated 2 day free shipping. I received a confirmation email the same day. On Feb 24 an email was received thanking me for my order. By Feb 27 I had not received a notification of shipment so I sent an email asking when my order would ship. On Feb 28 I received the following email:
"I'm sorry to inform you that due to unusually high order volume, your order has not shipped and may not be for several weeks. 3M has been out of stock since early February due to high demand, although they are continuing to take orders and guaranteeing that we will receive orders we place with them in due time. As such we have masks on order but we do not have an exact shipping date from 3M right now, however we can guarantee we will ship as soon as soon as 3M delivers product to us. We have been getting small shipments and shipping those on a first come, first served basis, so we appreciate your patience as we fulfill these orders as quickly as we can. We recommend keeping your order as you will lose your place in line if you cancel, and no other distributor has stock at the moment. If you do prefer to cancel, please note we ask that you do so via email, we will then cancel in accordance with our cancellation policy which was agreed to at checkout. You may review the cancellation policy *** if you wish."
The cancellation policy states a 10% cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel your order. Obviously the cancellation policy was not in clear view on the check out page, and who would've thought a charge would be made to cancel an order for merchandise they never had. Since they were out of stock in early February, they shouldn't have accepted my order or charged me for mercandise they never had in the first place. This is fraudulent business practice. I have contacted them but they won't waive the fee. I shouldn't have to pay a fee to cancel an order when they never even had the product. I would like a full refund of my money so I can purchase elsewhere. I am a senior citizen and on a fixed income so every dollar counts. I'm traveling soon so I need the money to purchase a mask because other businesses do have some. I haven't cancelled the order yet because I don't want to be charged the 10% cancellation fee.

I made another request for a full refund and they finally complied.

Sell â??out-of-stock items on the Internet and refuse full refunds.
On February 8th
I placed an order of N95 masks. I checked the whole website that there was no stock information, so I though it should in stock and ship in a few days.

On February 9th
The website said the mask is out of stock, and I need to wait for 2-4 weeks.

On February 15th
I sent an email to cancel my order and get full refund.

On February 16th
The website gave me partially refund and refused full refund.

On Ferbruary 17th
After talking with customer support, the website still refused full refund and does not reply my email.

They dont show any information about out of stock on their website. and When I placed the order for 7 days I was charged the money. When I contact them,they told me the item was out of stock it means I have to wait the shipment but they dont know the time. SO on 2/21 I contact them to cancel the order. But they dont give me the full refund and I was charged 10% because they customer told my this is their return policy. First of all, there is no any information about the item stock on the website, if you dont have ,you should put the back order or out of stock ,but they did not. Second, since you dont have the time and cannot ship , you cannot charge the customer. But I was charged the total amount. Third, I have contacted their customer service sereval times and no one told me the exact shipping time and the return policy and the cancalltion will be charged 10%.I check the review from the company, a lot of customer have such shopping experince.

Because they can not ship items to me, I canceled my order. But they charged me 10% of amount of my order.
I ordered some items on EIO.com on Feb 10 2020(the order #E - XXXXXXXXX), but until Feb 21 2020 they haven't shipped the order. I asked they why, they told me that the items was not available, I had to wait and they did not when they can ship it. so I canceled my order on Feb 22 2020, then they refunded my money, but they charge me 10% of the amount of my order. they told me they had the rule about cancellations, but nobody told me about that before. And I think that was not my fault to cancel the order. So please help me to get the all money back.

Dishonest Business Practices
As others have mentioned here, this company is running a racket off of a potential pandemic. First off, their respirators show in stock but then after you order and are charged you find out that you're actually on a waiting list. If and when you decide to cancel your order they charge you a 10% "processing fee"...for being on a waiting list...for products that aren't even in stock!

Shipped wrong items to me and forced me to pay return shipping to receive the funds that were charged from em for items that I never received.
I'd rather forward my e-mail chain.

On Saturday, 25-August-2018 I made a purchase online, PayPal Transaction # 8VVXXXXXEGXXXXXXF for Klein XXXX-X Electrician's Scissors. Their web site indicated free shipping. But after checking out, I noticed they charged me for shipping. They are not open on Saturday so I was unable to call them. I immediately sent them an E-mail message requesting they cancel the order if I was going to be charged for shipping charges. I sent several E-mail messages to them without any responses from them. PayPal was unable to help me with this issue. I contacted EIO by phone but was told I selected 2-day priority shipping at the time of checkout. However, it took over 1 week to receive the item from them. If I made a mistake at checkout it was due to either their shipping method selected by default when checking out is set for expedited shipping, instead of free shipping, or they are taking advantage of people who see "Free Shipping" on their web site for certain items they sale and they charge for shipping even when free shipping is selected. They refuse to allow me return the item to them for a refund because I missed their 2-week allowed time for returning items. But, it is not my fault they do not respond to their E-mail messages! I do not think they should be able to profit from taking advantage of people concerning shipping charges.

Desired Outcome

Refund I request they allow me to return the item to them for a refund. I am willing to absorb the cost of shipping costs to both receive the item and to return the item to them. I did not open the package so it is in new condition. The cost of item is not the concern. The lack of being willing to work with customers to resolve issues is of grave concern and requires them to be publicly accountable as a way to promote improved business practices on the part of EIO.COM.
