Review: This company mailed us a bill (#[redacted] for $893.01) on April *, 2013. The thing is, we have never heard of/from this company, we have/had no business arrangement with them, and the bill has a three-year-old date on it: March *, 2010. It is very clearly a mistake. We had never before received any bill from them and have no idea who they are.Since April **, 2013, we have called and written the firm repeatedly to get an explanation for this bill and to ask that it be confirmed as a mistake and voided. We do not want their bureaucratic mistake (or perhaps worse, an intentionally fraudulent billing) to end up on our credit record. Despite our repeated inquiries, no one has called or written us back and no one can explain why we are receiving a 2010 bill out of the blue in 2013. We do not know who these people are.The woman we have communicated with there, Augusta, keeps telling us the owner is "busy." We have asked repeatedly that they confirm this bill is an error and void it from their system. They have not responded in any way. I consider it criminal to send someone a random bill out of the blue and then refuse to void the bill or acknowledge an error or respond in any way.Desired Settlement: Confirm in writing that this bill was a mistake and that we owe them nothing. They should also be forced to stop doing this to random people in the future. It's not legal to spew out random bills and just hope someone will be foolish enough to send a check.
