ANOTHER EXtension from on going issue
Unbelievable this is now on the ninth day since this started and finally got my mothers patches yesterday but no sign of the other 2 comfort meds. Yesterday nurse leaves me a note saying "do not give my mom anything to drink or eat anymore and to also stop all my moms except morphine" This was followed by many exclamation points. I guess they really mean this. Two problems with this is,if my mother is thirst I am not going to deprive her of water[are we trying to kill her from dehydration? The next issue is we have been out of morphine so I cannot give her any. On top of all this my mother went from taking almost a dozen adivans a day[her bottle says 1 every two hours] to having zero. Now I hear adivan is highly addictive and that my mother is most likely going through withdrawal. This issue just keeps going and all this during her last days. Also we have many,many more documented instances like this one. Another small issue is I gave 1 nurse and 1 lpn permission to just walk in when they came here but now almost all of them do. 9 days since this one issue began and still we have not received the other two meds and both are comfort meds.

Extension from my review yesterday
This company is unbelievable and should not be in the Hospice care business. After what I wrote yesterday about my mother not getting her meds and about being told that there were scripts at the pharmacy but when I got there they had no scripts for her. They do this today. First off, was told a nurse would be here at 9;30, but she did not arrive till 2, and she had nothing for my mother. So now my mom is out of all her pain meds except a drop of morphine that isn't even a dose for her. My mother is now out of all 5 of her comfort meds. This is a company that claims to be caring of their clients but here my mom is with nothing for pain or anxiety and the poor lady cannot speak or communicate with us, so God knows how uncomfortable she is. I cannot tell you how p[censored] off I am, this company does not give a rats a[censored] about the comfort of my mother and has shown me nothing but disrespect and crappy tones in their voices. This is the worst experience I could ever imagine having during this tough time in my life. Cannot believe they came here today with nothing for my mother. Please, people, do yourself a favor and don't let these people care for your dying loved ones. Oh, and now it looks like they are trying to make us look like we did something with the meds after many years with them and no problems they are actually going to try and do this sad attempt to shift blame. That is what they do when a lawsuit is what they fear…what a pathetic thing to do, and I welcome it. But the fact of the matter is the nurse knew my mom had just received her last patch cause she put it on her, and she knew my mother's other meds were going to run out, but she did nothing, this was Wednesday. Then we told the nurse Friday the same information, and she did nothing. Now we tell the nurse again, and it was Sunday and here we are Monday night, and we still have nothing. So whose fault, is it? Oh, and by the way this has happened at least a dozen times since they took over my mother's care.

Mother always running out of meds
This company has made the experience of watching my mother die much more stressful than it was before they came along. My mother has had numerous instances I should say many, many instances where she ran out of her meds and trying to get them was always a rat race. I have not the energy to explain every story but I will explain the one I have had this past week. On Wednesday our nurse applied the last of my mothers pain patches but did not order anymore. So on Friday I explained to the other nurse that we were going to run out of other meds and that we were already out of patches. Do you think she got on the ball and ordered anything? No she did not. So today which is now Sunday our nurse from Wednesday comes over and now I am really irritated and explain to her that I am not happy so she says she will get right on it. She calls me back later and explains to me the pharmacy does not have patches and she does not have a refill in the system for Adivan but she says they do have the other two meds. Well the problem is the two meds they do have we are not needing right this second so this does not take care of the issue for what my mother does not have. Now it is told to me that she can only get what we need in two days the fastest, so here goes two more days without and my mother is now actively dying. So I go to the pharmacy after having a friend drive across town and the pharmacy has no refill orders for my mother, so no meds. Now I try to call her back, and she does not answer. This is just one crazy story of many that I have dealing with this company, not to mention they have cut her off of her Vicodins, Prilosec and lipotor in the past few months. So I guess when someone is dying that is when you cut them off of their comfort meds, cause who cares if she gets heartburn or if she needs meds for breakthrough pain when she is dying. The crazy thing is after my mom has been on Vics for over ten years, a new nurse comes over and doesnt talk to my mom and tells me she does not need her Vics. How the hell does she know and how can she just do this when 3 different drs over the years wrote my mom the scripts. So obviously the drs though she needed it. Like I said, I could literally write a book about all the issues we have had and never did I feel like they were ever that concerned about the issues I had. If you would like Hospice care for your loved one and want it to be a peaceful experience, do not use this company. I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown today having to deal with this and it being on the last days of my mother's life. So here my mother is without 3 of her comfort meds, and it is when she needs them the most. She cannot even talk anymore, so God knows how much pain she is in right now, and that s[censored] is wrong when they are supposed to be here to make the experience less stressful for us and more comfortable for her. They failed at both, and for that I can never fully forgive them.

The above referenced complaint was presented to management staff on 12/11/2O1B and promptly investigated. On 12/16/18, the branch manager personally met with the customer and obtained pictures of the furniture allegedly damaged. The furniture had no visible signs of damage other than normal wear expected with use (furniture is over 1D years old). In good faith, the manager did request that the customer provide a professional estimate or bid to repair the damage, if any. The customer, to this date, has not provided this estimate of repair. Additionally, the staff assigned to this customer denied ever using anything to clean with that was not provided by customer. Customers are required to provide their own cleaning supplies as the company does not supply staff with cleaning supplies or chemicals.
