Review: On March 16 I purchased a gift card from this restaurant for $25.00. I signed a debit receipt for $25. The next day I noticed that my account had been debited for $30.00. I contacted the manager and explained to him what had happened. His response was that his copy of my receipt showed only $25.00 and that the bank must have charged the extra $5.00. I told him that the amount debited would have been entered into his computer for $30.00 and that my bank report shows this amount. He denied that anyone had entered in the extra $5.00 after I left the restaurant.

That evening I returned to the restaurant and showed him a copy of the pre-authorization for $25.00 and the final debit from my account for $30.00. He stilled denied anyone in his restaurant did this and it had to have happened at the bank. I am an employee of this bank and I know this is not true. I even confirmed the two different amounts with the bank's [redacted] department. He refused to refund me the extra $5.00. I enformed him that I would not be making any further purchases at his restaurant and that I would be filing a fraud report with my bank the next day. His response was that he did not care and that I could file my report.Desired Settlement: I would like for this to be investigated and the assurance that this would not happen again to other customers.
