Collected money for work never completed
Contracted EJ Drywall to finish a room in our basement. Paid a % deposit to purchase necessary materials. Contractor kept rescheduling the work with various excuses after about 3 months of excuses he quit answering texts or calls.

Took over a month to redo 2 ft of drywall in a bathroom that had mold, and new floor. The room was 5x7 max. And price just kept inflating. Total was 1200. Total rip off as far as I'm concerned. Would never recommend or use again

I paid EJ drywall $***+ to do a job they have never made an effort to show up for. They won't return my money and quit responding to me completely.
In *** I put down % which was $***+ to do some demolition and hang drywall. I was told my % down payment would be so they could get surprise and pay their labor. They have made no effort to even come and start the job, they won't give me my money back, and now they won't answer calls or messages. I have asked numerous times to just get my money back and we can go our separate ways but the excuse I keep getting is he spent MY money for HIS own personal expenses.
