Review: This company called EIT Data Solutions advertised a work from home position online on [redacted] in Houston TX. I responded with a resume and was contacted by email by a [redacted]. The job offer was $18.25 per hour and the company was to supposedly provide the laptop/desktop, printer, etc needed to perform the job. After receiving another email some weeks later after applying that I would be contacted to perform an interview by phone, I received a USPS letter packet by mail. This packet contained an offer letter from the company(which I still have) from [redacted] welcoming me to the position. The letter also stated to deposit the included check to my account and after it clears I will receive another email giving the contact info to reach their supplier to order the equipment needed to work for their company. The check included was from Chase Bank for the amount of $2.231.12. After attempting to cash the check I was informed the last time they received that type of check it was forgery/fraud. Also which was a red flag, the check did not state EIT Data Solutions as the company, it stated Thunderbird School of Global Management? in Glendale Arizona. I thought this was very odd. I only found the company when searched that had the same type of complaint. I guess they are called EIT Data Solutions now. the website is [redacted]. There is no phone number listed on the website only a [redacted]. The offer letter did include a contact number of ###-###-#### to reach [redacted] Tuesday-Friday. The letter states benefits, a salary of $18.25 by check or direct deposit. It also states once the check clears, your employment starts when they receive a completed W-4 and copy of ID to be entered into payroll. The W-4 is supposed to come with the equipment ordered. Please stop these people from getting people's hopes up with this fraudulent job offer. The economy is already at a stand still for some of us and I don't appreciate these new wave scams!Desired Settlement: I want my info sent to them destroyed ASAP!!!

At this time, I have not been contacted by Eit Services Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted]. Every time I tried to contact the business the same voicemail keeps picking up. I've tried to call at several different times of the day on different days as well to reach someone but no luck.
