the ring to an making it larger, and resoldered the separated bottom pieces where the ring had broken when cut offThe repairs were done on the premises in one week at a cost of $plus taxThe customer was called, she picked it up and signed for on March 4th of She then wore the ring for monthsWe have no idea how the ring was worn during those monthsConsidering the ring was worn by her mother for years and now by her, the ring is most definitely worn and then weakened when it was cut completely off of her fingerIt is never going to be as strong as a brand new ring, repairs are required on any ring that has been put through this type of wear and repairWhen she brought the ring in on 12-30-we charged $to resolder a crack in the bottom of the shankThis is not unusual for a ring to crack that has been broken in half and made to an 1/and worn all the timeWe are willing to return the $for the second repairThe half shank which would be $plus tax would NOT touch the top of the ring where we repaired and the sizing she needed to make the ring a size 1/makes doing the 1/shank the correct shape of the ringif these repairs would not have been previously completed, the 1/shank repair would be more costly- We will send a check for $plus tax to the customer.Thank you,Cristine M***
