This dispute has been settled the company has treated us very well after the response we are very satisfied with the courtesy and the response that the company has give us

Our technician, [redacted] , who has many years of service experience found a burned resistor on the start capacitor He replaced the capacitor and tried to start the compressor and heard the start relay pull in but the compressor would not start and had amperage reading of amps which means the compressor is locked / seized up at that time He tried again but same results He called Mr [redacted] and told him the situation and recommended a new condenser since unit is years old and has already had issues with starting since a start capacitor and relay had previously been installed AND start capacitor resistor blown [redacted] did not charge for the start capacitor so Mr [redacted] was left with a new start capacitor and [redacted] still has old starting capacitor in his truck meaning to throw in our trash[redacted] told me that a compressor showing locked rotor amps MIGHT start again at a later time, but when amperage shows lock rotor amps, a compressor will not last long and often can burn up a wire to compressor terminals, relay, or capacitor Mr [redacted] said that the other technician that came out got the compressor to start but also told Mr [redacted] that it might not last long We do not know what amperage the other technician found but we would be interested to know if within "name plate" amps because if over such, it shows that the compressor has bad bearings and will lock up / seize again very soon FYI, I called [redacted] AC at [redacted] at pm today but no answer and left voice message asking him to call me and tell me what he found, where burnt wire was from, maybe even send a copy of his service ticket.Mr [redacted] said he called our office the morning of March 26, phone rang and cut out after one ring, with no one answering Yesterday morning, March 26, our phones did such because of an AT&T problem outside our building Our phones were down from around am to pm Once we knew about, we had our phone lines transferred to the answering serviceMr [redacted] called before phones transferred and later fixed and did not try again I can understand his being upset over phone "response" but that does not mean we are not wanting to listen to his complaint and respond We did not know he tried and had no way to know he tried One ring and then cuts off means something wrong with phones or phone lines.I called Mr [redacted] around noon, March 27, and discussed this with him, told him we would be reimbursing him his $due to our tech not able to get compressor running but another tech able to do such even though such can happen, but compressor will not last long I told him that we wished he would have tried more than once to call before complaining to the Revdex.com I told him about our phones being out yesterday morning (If you need confirmation of our phones being out we can provide such.) He said his wife took picture of the burnt wire the other tech found and would text to me and picture of burnt wire on a piece of paper Our tech would not have recorded lock rotor amps with a burnt wire He would have measured NO amperage So both [redacted] and I are very curious to know exactly what the other tech found and where "burnt" wire was located Maybe wire burned up while ES [redacted] was trying to start since wiring under extreme amperage could burn up as happened to the capacitor resistor [redacted] texted me picture of burnt wire at 12:pm, I texted back immediately asking if he could find out where the burnt wire was connected and also asked if he could get [redacted] AC to call me on my cell I did not hear back from him or Mr [redacted] , so I texted Mr [redacted] at 2:pm today and told him that I tried to call [redacted] AC and only got answering machine, left message for Mr [redacted] to call me on cell and also asked Mr [redacted] to forward a copy of his service ticket if he could I have yet to receive any response to these requests at this time, 4:pm on March 27.Service work on old equipment can be very difficult to FULLY diagnose due to the equipment being old and worn out - "works" at times but does not work well Same as a doctor trying to diagnose medical situations with older people or people who have not taken care of their health, over weight, etc I thought that the Revdex.com would NOT accept a complaint without the customer having first contacted the business and discussed situation and then only accept a complaint if customer felt that the business was NOT willing to settle a complaint Mr [redacted] told me he emailed us about his complaint but I see no "Contact Form Submission" (from website) from him since the night of March 23, at 10:PM when he requested service We looked at the submission for service on Tuesday morning and went out that day to diagnose, etc Mr [redacted] said he only called once on March 26, got cut off, and did not try again to contact us He was upset, thought we did inferior work, and sp complained to the Revdex.com Should not work that way since this situation is not "cut and dry" that we are incompetent and unwilling to discuss and settleBottom line Our tech found a burned resistor on capacitor, replaced capacitor, tried to start the compressor and amperage to the compressor showed amps, meaning that compressor had seized up AT THAT TIMEWhat else could we do? No need to spend more time and expense to look for a burnt wire since amps on a compressor reveals a seized compressor and wiring intact, even if burnt Ask any other AC service company what they would have done Mr [redacted] came out later that day or Wednesday and found burnt wire and was able to get compressor to run but he also said that compressor old, worn, and would not last long Glad for Mr [redacted] that compressor running but we know and Mr [redacted] knows it will not last long[redacted] President
