Efficient Movers

I hired Efficient Movers on Jan. 21, 2020 through *** to help move me out of an apartment in Oconto Falls on Jan. 25, 2020. I spoke with *** on the phone and he was very pleasant. He then said I would need to pay the full amount ($314.99) in advance to finalize the work order for the move, which I did. On the day of the move (Jan. 25) the movers did not show up. I contacted *** and he said the movers had gotten in a vehicle accident, that I would be able to get a full refund, and that he would reschedule the movers to come the next day at 4 PM. The next day, Jan. 26, the movers again did not show up. I again contacted him and this time he was unresponsive. Since then I have called and texted him multiple times with no resolution. I finally texted and emailed him saying that I would come to the address listed on Revdex.com in person to retrieve my refund. Upon going to this address on Feb. 24, I found it was a duplex and did not look like a place of business, nor were there any moving trucks in sight. *** texted me on Feb. 24 saying that my check was in the mail (although I have not yet received this check). I now doubt the legitimacy of this business and would like my money refunded in full.

I hired Efficient Movers through Labormovers.com. I hired them to unload my 16 foot POD container on 1-31-2020 from 4pm-6pm. They never showed up after paying for the services in full. I contacted the owner Mr. at 430 to find out where the crew was. He told me that the crew was running late from the last job and would be there in 15 minutes. Well that come and gone so I called he back at 5, no answer so I texted him and he responded saying he could get in touch with his crew and would see about getting another crew out to help. NOTHING! After 6 more call and 5 texts messages, no response. My brother drove 35 minutes to come help me unload the container ourselves. I made servers more calls the following day and texts and still no response. I don’t get how a company is still allowed to operate and take advantage of the consumer. They should no longer be in business. Who does a person sleep at night when they take money from people, don’t perform the service and no further contact is made? They took my money and didn’t care to refund it or make the situation right. I hope no one ever uses this company! They are unprofessional, and will take your money and leave you standing with no services.
