weren't items present because legally we can't cut a lock until the legal and lock phase. We conduct a second inventory each month before the 21 day time limit to return a security deposit, July 2015 was scheduled for the 15th of July. After Ms. [redacted] called our office at around 9 15am on the morning of July 14th, 2015 we told her we would go those units that day and see if a lock was still present. At that time there was no lock on the door leading us to believe there was error in the July 1st inventory. We then phoned [redacted] who is the primary leasee to inform him that the deposit was being mailed out that afternoon, there was no voicemail on the number provided therefore we then sent out an email explaining the situation. The deposit was mailed out on the afternoon of the 14th before the 21 day legal turn around time. The claim also stated that we refused to return the deposit back which is false, we explained to Ms. [redacted] that we would check into the issue and let her know later that day which is exactly what happened. Please let us know if there are any further questions or concerns. Sincerely,
