The contractor's response is not the whole storyI first expressed concern about the extensive damage to my yard to the owner nearly a year agoI contacted him throughout last fall, and again a series of communications from me starting in FebruaryI was mostly concerned about the deep craters in my lawn as hazard to my children, and wanted the safety issue dealt with asapI told the owner this on multiple occasionsHe seemed to care more about the appearance of my lawn than the safety of my childrenI care about BOTH, but safety should always come firstRecently, the contractor did some repair, which was not complete, and I had to have a series of additional conversations to get him to finish the jobSince the end result will not be known until the new soil settles and the grass seed germinates (or doesn't), I suggest we wait to close this complaint until we see that result
In response to the above complaint, as noted, we agreed to have repair completed by May Because of weather permitting work, both settlement and seed germination cannot take place until the weather warms up to desireable temperatures for proper growthWe have completed the work by agreed
deadlineI do feel it unfair for a complaint to be filed prematurely, as this was done two weeks prior to alotted timeIf feel this is just cause to remove complaint altogether.Sincerely,Ed R***, owner
