I dropped my vehicle off for the white to be painted. They painted the entire vehicle, even the black, just sprayed it all. They took it back to repaint the black, and get black on the white. I took it back again and they tried to argue with me that it was my fault that they messed up. They took it back to paint over the black spots. There were white on black and the car was not repainted, even though they had it for a 5-7 days at a time. They tried to say that was the 'last time' they would fix their mistakes. They scheduled me for a over a MONTH later saying that it was how they schedule their warranty work. I took it in AGAIN they kept it for over a week, did not put parts back on AND there was white on MANY black parts again. The arrogant front office manager, had his workers come out in the hot son and try to remove the white that was on the black and 'repaint' with the small brush. When removing the white, again some of the black was removed AND I STILL have white spots on the black and my tires. The 5 times Ive had to bring it back to be fixed has had me borrowing another vehicle while they had my car sit, Im sure to prove a point and keep me from coming back. I again need to take it back to fix it, but they win, they wore me out and I dont want to have to make arrangements to leave my car for a week to again not have it done right. DONT go there!
I experienced today 5/15/2020 pretty much what you can read below. I made an appointment for Tuesday the 12th to paint 5 small spots of paint that had pealed away. Really a minor job. Dropped it off on the 11th to make it easier so they could start the work right away on the 12th. I was promised the vehicle could be picked up on the 13th. I swung by and checked on the 12th vehicle never touched. Called on the 13th for pick up and told me it's not ready I can pick it up on the 14th. I arrive on the 14th at the designated time and review my vehicle and it was a disaster. The green paper that they use to cover up areas was stuck to the clear coat and was going to be given to me in that condition. I showed the office person "J" and he said that was wrong let me keep it and I will fix it and you can pick it up on the 15th. I call on the 15th another worker "P" told me it was ready. I arrive and it was never touched. I explain my frustration and lack of trust and it just fell on deaf ears. Told me to pay in full as I offered to pay 50% and I would return and then pay the remaining 50%. Nope pay in full and we will now fix it under warranty. So after having the vehicle for 5 days I have to return and have them try again. So buyers or customers beware the low prices and cash only does not give you any customer service or any type of quality (like the advertise) repair at all. The over-spray was every where. If it was black it is now white. The sanding residue is all over the inside of my vehicle, doors, seats, trim, dash everywhere. The floor is full of dirt and rubble and the door from shoes is all scuffed. Biggest mistake I ever made. Not worth it at all. They do not care about you or your vehicle. So I should have known when an outfit only take cash something is up. If you look at the Revdex.com review they are rated "F" DO NOT GO THERE!!!
I brought my car for body repair and a two-tone paint job. Instead I got a paint oversprayed pathetic paint job that was incorrectly painted.
I brought my car to them for body repair and a two-tone paint job. After a week, they called to say it was done. When I arrived, the car was in the shop painted entirely different than the color photograph I gave them showing EXACTLY what I wanted. The car had overspray everywhere and the emblems weren't even reattached. There was still a large dent on the quarter panel that they were supposed to repair as was the rear bumper cover was not attached properly. These were all things that was supposed to be fixed. When questioned, the guy who wrote me up screamed at me to get the f outta my shop. When I said I was calling the Police because I felt threatened, a manager (Jordan), appeared out of nowhere and apologized for this other guys actions. He promised me that, If I gave him 5 more days, he would strip off the bad paint and repaint it to my liking. I got a call 5 days later telling me it was all done. Upon arrival, the car was outside. It had paint overspray everywhere, the headlights and fog lamps (still with the masking tape on) had paint on them, the roof antenna had mega overspray on it. The paint was NOT stripped off as promised as there is a definite line on the doors showing he only painted over the second color. The overspray was everywhere!! They never taped off the car properly and there is paint color on all the lenses, windows, door handles. chrome tailpipe extension and so many fisheyes it's pathetic. The car emblems were re-glued on the body with some kind of adhesive that oozed out between them all and eventually fell off. This is the most pathetic painting and service I have EVER encountered. Their attitude was very aggressive and childish. I ask that I get a full refund so that I may take it elsewhere to have a legitimate body shop repair their damage.
I want a full refund of my $756.49.
My vehicle went in for a paint repair and came out a nightmare!!
First of all my car key was given to another customer so I don't have an original key to my car it's an replacement which they said when I pick my car up I will receive both which was a lie. Second they repainted my car 3 times till the got it semi right till I said it was enough the have overspray in my car and painted over my door rubber pieces and my the painted my tail pipe white also they painted my tinted windows white and tried to scrap it off with a razor and said they will fix it the whole incident started on the 20th of February and I didn't receive my car back till March 20 my car was left unlocked over night all my personal belongings were torn out my glove compartment also the pin stripe I paid for they never did as they said so they told me when I picked my car up that they would fix it on Wednesday March 25th and they took back their word after I paid them I gave the the sum of 221 plus an additional 500 for the sum of 721 which doesn't seem right but that's what the wrote on a receipt then so the they have me trespassed *** the Bradenton police department case number XXXX-XXXXXX. I need them shut down.
Refund or this business needs to be shut down
Run! Customer service is horrible. Paint start chipping away! They do not keep electronic records and the customer service is just bad. I would not be upset if this business went away!
Don't walk - RUN AWAY. I brought in a brand new tailgate to get painted to match the factory color of my 06 Titan. Econo's "staff" took the tailgate out of my car and put it on a shopping cart - no joke. The "manager" inspected the tailgate and found no issues. I also gave them the old tailgate and the color code of the truck to match.
One week later I was called by Econo and told the tailgate was ready for pick up. I drive the 30 minutes or so and find the tailgate on another shopping cart, painted - but missing the emblems. "Oh, no problem - we'll do that right now!". While waiting for them to find a tool (putty knife) to remove the emblems from the old tailgate and affix them on the new (glue) I rolled the shopping cart into the sun and placed a chip of paint from the old one on to the new to check for match. Wrong color. The old tailgate was darker and the new had too much blue.
The manager came out and at first wanted to argue that old paint fades but then realized the old one was darker than the new. While showing her the difference, I noticed a new slight crease on one side of the tailgate. To her credit - she didn't argue about either repainting or fixing the crease.
THREE WEEKS LATER, after several phone calls and several excuses, we were told it's ready for pick up. We went into the shop and found no one. One employee was outside helping another customer. 10 minutes or so of waiting and finally someone shows up from the back. He brings us into the shop to have a look. The tailgate is in the farthest, darkest corner on another shopping cart!
I ask him to bring it to the front and he has my wife help him carry it (I can't - disabled). But, whatever, she is strong and didn't mind. We get it into the light and the paint does match this time. The emblems are on - but the glue is bubbling out from all sides. I ran my hand across the tailgate and found "boogers" all over the new paint. A booger to me is a small drop of paint or dirt affixed to the paint because of sloppy conditions or a poorly maintained paint gun.
I asked the employee about it and he told me with dead eyes that "we don't wet sand". I asked him to explain himself; how can you say a product with so many imperfections is finished and that you don't wet sand? He said I could speak to the manager outside who was just coming in the door.
The "manager" was a sloppy, hunched over, youngish man whom could barely speak understandable English - his Vietnamese (I assume - maybe Laotian?) accent was so strong. He confirmed - "we don't wet sand". I asked "so, you are telling me, after first the wrong color, then a dent, two weeks of waiting, and I'm supposed to finish the job myself? Because you 'don't wet sand'?"
And here is where I lost my mind. The "manager" - who, by the way wasn't the person I had been dealing with previously, first started to complain about matching colors, then went on to tell me the dent was my fault, and finally, yes - go sand it yourself.
Wow. Well, obviously I was upset. Raised my voice and forgot my manners. Instead of diffusing the situation - the manager continued to argue, in this infuriating, cowardly way, never looking at me and always just barely understandable. Anyway - it was going nowhere. So I gave them their cash (cash only - should have been a warning flag) made them load it into my van so no more blame could be placed on me, and left.
I had no unreasonable expectations. No one goes to paint shops like this to get show quality paint. I needed a brand new tailgate painted to match a factory color. A job about as easy as it gets. I paid about half of what they charge for a full paint job - so even though I assume profit margins are thin, they made money on the work. But even if they didn't - they set the price, they promised a quality job, and they totally, completely, failed. And they lost a customer for life.
