The salesperson was great. He provided a fantastic experience and was easy to communicate.
We ordered a replacement of one window. The installation part was a nightmare.
Firstly, the representative called before the installation and told us that we should pay the balance before the installation process. She said that "Some people do not pay the money," so we should make the payment.
Then the installers arrived. We paid the outstanding balance IN FULL, and the installation began. The window installers moved the furniture around the house. They neither asked permission nor put it back to the place. They used offensive words when communicated among themselves. They put pieces of old window onto our lawn. They also inserted their brand sign into the grass.
The finished window itself was of high quality. However, the window framing was left unpainted with yellow stains and uneven surfaces. They told us that we have to paint it ourselves. It was not very convenient for us, as we did not expect to spend time finishing the window.
The worst thing happened later. In two weeks, the representative called and told us that we STILL OWE them $150, and we have to make the payment. She could not explain how it is possible that we paid the invoice in full and still owe them money.
I would think twice if I want to order from this company anything else in the future.
I am disappointed with our new Ecoline Windows. The reason we changed our windows was the frost and ice on our old windows during cold months. We were hoping the new windows wouldn't have that issue, but it's no better. Our new windows get ice on them on the inside and quite a lot.

Sales rep was very knowledgeable and brought along a cut-out of an actual window to show how good the product was. The price was better than the quotes offer by other companies that I checked out. The installers did a good job of installing the windows and tidying up afterwards. Customer service was good.

I am very happy with the install of my new windows and patio door. The crew did a great job having the windows centered correctly and foamed all around, I won't have any problems putting my interior trim back on. They were there when they said they would be, put runners down to protect the floors and tub an did a great clean up afterwards inside and out.
I have been asked by others who are planning to get some work done in the future and have told them to give these guys a call by all means.

Ecoline replaced all the windows in my home as well as three doors plus a patio door. I am extremely pleased with the job they did and with the people who came to my home to do the work. I especially liked dealing with Matan, who discussed everything with me and did the estimate. I highly recommend Ecoline.

Everything went exactly as stated. The price charged was the price quoted. Installation was efficient and done quickly. I recommend this company to anyone.

My experience with Ecoline was very good. The salesman Alex explained everything very well and the installers were very professional and had the windows installed in a very short time. They cleaned up well after they were done. I'm very happy with the new windows and will use Ecoline again.

Refusing to allow me to pick up a part.
A part broke on my window. I called to have this replaced and was told that the party is under warranty and the cost to install is $100+GST. Asked them if we could install it ourselves and they said yes and they can delivery the part to me.
Now that the part is in, they told me that they can't allow me to pick it up that I have to pay $50+GST to ship it to me because it's in the warehouse. There is no option for pick up.
They have at least 2 offices here in Calgary, there is no reason they can't have the part brought there and I can pick it up. Paying $50+ is a crazy amount to be paying and not having the option to pick up warranty parts.

As per my previous message, I did note that they contacted me and are providing the part and installation on Sept 11. They responded quickly.
We had Eco-line quote on 24 windows for our home. Alex the project manager came to our house and gave us a quote. The quote was reasonable and within our budget. He thoroughly explained what the windows and trim would be like.
We were kept informed that our windows were in production and when they would be delivered.
A start day was given and the crew arrived early in the am. They were efficient, and cleaned up everyday after themselves.
It took 4 1/2 days to do the 24 windows. The crew put in full days. We have no complaints about the work.
We recommended Eco-line to family members.

Needed to replace a window in our bedroom. Called ecocline windows and we very happy with the service. They payed attention to protecting our carpeting. Very happy with their attention to detail, quick service and they left the area absolutely clean. They also give me a rundown on how to maintain the window.

Since last time we were discuss issue about windows and glass chip and frames been damage and scratch try to fixed never solve and the stucco and inside the house bedrooms ceiling and four corner frames capes not match white color and dummy window shutter been damage look like they try to avoid it I talk to the service manager name *** is almost five weeks service person measure the window and template the window since June 12/2019 in the afternoon time between 12.30p to 2.30pm service person was very rude tell me that who ever work for the company no longer with them and I say to the service person still your company take responsible to fix it have warranty from begin until now and the service manager tell nothing there can do about the color is not match also there not to replace the dummy window shutter and not going to fixed bedroom ceiling and the stucco outside the house service person try to tell he can fixed not his job he said I ask him what you come here to argue he come inside the house not take of his shoe I nice to ask him please removed your shoes he said no and talk to his service manager about it and try to talk to *** July 3/2019 to his customer service person *** to tell him when you service person come to replace the windows there say only replace chip glass window not the frame there come from Ontario so far nothing happening! we are very happy and stress and this replace middle November 2017

In regards to the repairs:
The replacement glass has arrived. Our scheduling department will be instructed to place a call with you to schedule for an appointment to have it replaced.
Our installer will take a look again on the bent shutter. Unfortunately, we can not fix ceiling and we can not change the rosettes.
Please notify the agent on the phone about any other concerns that you might have so that we can address them on the same appointment.

Ecoline windows wont do my job without another $200.00
I ordered windows on a payment plan and gave $2000.00 deposit which was cashed immediately. February There was still 4 feet (at least) of frost in the ground, they weren't going to dig window wells then and there was no start date set yet. I had time to get the permit. Joel had all the windows built before I got a permit and found it could not be issued because Joel's 25% of wall calculation was incorrect. Patrick *** wanted an engineers certificate. I do not want to pay another $400.00 on top of the already %210.00 construction permit I had to buy. Joel complained that turning the window 90deg would make a bigger window well. The window well would have to be a few shovel fulls deeper (true). The window well would be the same size. I asked them to make the correct size window. Joel would not listen. His boss called me, I was mad. They want more money from me and wont do the project.

Ecoline Windows was in touch with the customer to arrange a concrete cutter to come out and assess the scope of work. We have received a report back outlining what needs to be done. We have also arranged an appropriate size of the window and working out the final details with the concrete cutters to schedule for the project to proceed.

Last year, I had Ecoline to replace my house windows. The guys from this company, started in the morning, work though until 6pm, by the next day morning, completed 6 big windows without any garbage left behind.

We had the back of the house done about a year and a half ago and have been really pleased with our new windows. This time we had all the West and South windows replaced. Ecoline Windows are a super company to deal with. They give accurate estimates, produce a great product and installation is always quick and easy. Best of all our windows are beautiful and our house is warm.

I was referred to Ecoline Windows by a friend as they were the best priced and quality window that they found. From start to finish the quality of service was excellent. The Customer Service Staff informed me every step of the way where my window was. I was also given a choice to install on short notice due to a cancellation. I took it and their installers arrived during the time frame given and stayed until the job was done. I have noticed a large difference in temperature with this new window installed and am extremely satisfied with the look and quality.

We chose Ecoline because the salesperson was the most knowledgeable and prompt. It was a bonus that they were the most economical. We were lucky to have the windows installed right before the cold snap and now there's no more icy or foggy windows. Would definitely recommend.

I found this company very good to deal with. I had three quotes and eco line seemed the best fit for my needs and budget. I had three windows replaced and the installation went well with very professional staff. Only hiccup was the installers arrived earlier than scheduled but it worked out in the end.

2019 Feb 7 We had most of our house windows replaced by Ecoline. It seemed that they were conscientious and did a good job. However, when we started having cracks in the window panes (3 windows), when we called, we were told that our one year warranty was up (Dec 22 2018 ) but they could order replacements. There was no help but for us to pay for the windows - again! They would not send anyone to look at the windows because our warranty was up. Is this customer service? I would not recommend this company to even my worst enemy!
Hello Christina. Thank you very much for your feedback. Sealed units are covered for a lifetime warranty (25 years) against a sealed unit failure (moisture between the glass panes) and for 1 year against pressure cracks. This is a standard warranty in the industry. Unfortunately we can not provide the replacement free of charge since the window in question was installed over a year ago. We are sorry for the inconveniences it may have caused you.
I have write down my detail complaint in the 4000 character block.
I am writing this complaint letter against the company regarding the two Tipple glaze windows installation in my basement last year May 03, 2018 spent CAD 2100/- paid through bank cheques.
In this winter I feel some air leakage on both windows on the side of the glasses, it is quite clear when the temperature goes down to negative outside. I have other triple glaze windows were already installed in 2005-6 from a different company which have no problem or any issue till date, so I called Ecoline and reported the leakage issue. The representative on the phone replied after holding a few minutes that a little leakage is normal and we are charging if send out the tech and found no issue; they were not supportive and trying to scare me about it. I told them that I have other windows at home and there were no issue like this, so send a technician on the day when the temperature is really down outside. It is easy to locate the cold air coming through inside.
Finally we schedule a technician on January 25th on the day the temperature were -25C, the tech came and I showed him the points where the cold air coming through inside home even around the bezel. The technician writes down on the paper and told me that this is a manufacturer issue and will report to the company, he left the house without giving me any in report or signature on the paper. This technician installed the windows and belongs to the Ecoline Company.
Next week I called and ask about the technician report and they send me windows test report from manufacturer printed in June24, 2009. I called back and asked about the issue and they replied that the tech says there were no issue in the windows, I told them that connect the technician on the conference call as he admitted that this the manufacturer issue but they were totally refused and said sorry to me that they cannot help as the technician said it is normal. The technician is belongs to the company and the company was not allowing me to talk to the technician, to sum up the company was not taking responsibility to fix this issue at all. I have send last email to the Ecoline Company and explain the entire situation again to consider the issue and come along with two credible technicians to look and asked reply me in one week but they didn't reply.
This company is associated with *** as well and I got $75 rebate toward Home Energy Evaluation after replacing these windows on Ecoline Company, now this is not giving me the efficient result because of leakage and poor material installation from Ecoline as well as no service and support.
Finally I am submitting my case to your organization to get support in this issue as Ecoline individuals wasted my time ***. I hope that your organization will get them accountable and will resolve my issue.

Ecoline windows has one of the best product and labour warranties on the market and always strives to take timely actions to have the concerns resolved. Mr. reported his concern on January 14th, 2019 and Ecoline had a service technician come out on January 17th. I would like to emphasize that Mr. purchases slider style windows, which is by default a not an air tight wind with a compression seal. Slider windows allows a certain air penetration and we have sent an official air leakage testing result. ***.

This is not a valid reply, I have same slider windows installed in 2008 and have no leakage issue,the leakage is from the fixed corner of the windows not only the sliding side which were observed by your technician and admit that this is manufacturer issue and he did not signed the report at site and left, later your company denied. it is not a certain amount while it is huge leakage and need to be fixed
