RE: Complaint ID: [redacted]: Mr. [redacted] R. [redacted]
Ebiz Communications, DBA: “Ebiz Computers”, is an IT company that operates primarily in San Diego, CA. We believe we were contacted by phone and by email (through our website) by a “Mr. [redacted]” who said essentially the same thing in the complaint that you have sent us. I told Mr. [redacted] the following things on the phone that I will repeat here for crystal clarity:
1) We have never serviced any customer in Ohio in the history of our company.
2) We have no record of ever performing any computer service for Mr. [redacted].
3) We do not currently have, nor have we ever had, any association with any technician by the name of “[redacted]”.
4) We have never, and currently do not, sell any form of “service agreement” where we maintain computers over a period of time for any fees.
5) We have never, and do not, tell people that they need to purchase any Adobe products- further: we do not sell (or re-sell) any Adobe products.
6) There are many companies on the web with names similar to our name or that contain the word “Ebiz” in them, and we believe he is mistaking our company for some other company. We suggest that Mr. [redacted] review his documentation and payment methods to identify the right company. We made every effort to explain these facts to Mr. [redacted] and help him with some suggestions about how to find the company that he is looking for. He seems to simply refuse to believe these facts (or is pursuing it for some other reason.)
7) I can prove every single statement above- this includes proof through banking and financial instruments. False accusations about a company (whether accidental or not) can seriously injure a company’s credibility and business with today’s ease of mass publishing. I recommend that Mr. [redacted] handles this matter with care as we take these types of accusations very seriously and are ready to respond legally if required.

Review: I purchased a service agreement for &199.99 in July, 2014. since then, my computer hasn't functioned properly. This requires contact for problems almost every 2 weeks. First, I was told I had to buy a new anti-viral program, despite having one already installed ($99.00). . Next I was told I needed an Adobe Program installed, despite having one installed already.(another $(99.00). When I notified [redacted], tech, he replied: "I can't find it. To open the attachment files you want, you need to install Adobe. I'll take your credit card number now"). When I developed trouble opening my email, I was told: "You need to open another email account". Finally I got wise and took my tower to a local repair store, Dork Force, who fixed my computer, commenting: "Whoever repaired this previously, didn't know what they were doing".Now, it runs fine. This service is a scam. I have wasted so much time, having [redacted] tie up my computer, only to have another problem 2 weeks later.I would like the remainder of my service (July) refunded, as well as the $99.00 twice for programs that I didn't need.Thank you,[redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund of existing contract (July 2015)Refund of unneeded anti-virus and Adobe programs $99.00 each
