Eat to Perform

Merchant used scare tactics/limited availability of product/service to get the consumer to buy. They advertise for a meal plan to get you into shape along with a certified coach to help you along your journey. I contacted them on December 30 to inquire more about the plan and was told that the pricing was only good that day and I was going to miss my chance if I didn't act fast so I purchased out of fear and not knowing much about the service. They promised a meal plan. I received a 4 day plan printout, a SmartPhone app invite, and a ton of reading material after I explained my time limitations and such. They were out of pocket for the holiday as was I, so when I returned and started reviewing the information I realized quickly that this was a bad purchase. I was not aware of any policies they have about refunds, but I never received a service. I requested a cancelation within 3 business days and they have refused. No services were received and they have made it nearly impossible to inquire about their business online. There is not a place for customer reviews or customers to provide testimony about their product. I feel this violates sooooo many items you have listed above;
false advertisement of their product coaching,
billing issue/contract issue - if a person did not receive their service they are entitled to a refund... and isn't there a buyers remorse clause?,
Customer service issues because it took 24 hours to get a response and those responses seemed highly unprofessional and they do not do a good job of explaining their product before making someone pay.
I am curious to know how many others have been tricked into this program.
